Should i add passive skills?
Should i add passive skills?
Hey guys i am a pure int / spear character. I am wondering whether should i add the passive for spear (add HP) and force (add MP). And the passive for ice (add Physical Defence). Thanks...

What do you need MP for? A pure INT has boatloads of MP. Force passive totally optional, for obsessive compulsives only. The only skill in the lightning tree that I consider optional for a nuker is the imbue. Since you'll be dual nuking with fire, the most common thing would be to just get the fire imbue since its magic damage is better and it won't attract tons of mobs with splash damage who then smish you.
Now, some people will say "don't get concentration/lightning passive, parry is useless". They are wrong. Others will say "don't get lion shouts, too weak". They are crazy (uppercut rules your face). For fire, I think every build with ANY fire mastery MUST get as much fire shield as possible. Status reduction is lovely. Keep a shield handy to equip when you want to cast it. Physical damage buff/passive... Again, only for the obsessive compulsive. Fire wall? Little good to say about it. Experiment with 1 level if you like.

LOL
odd i see every high lvl with ice buffs
even full int nukers with spear passives
both nukes from lightning ??
if you mean the lightning bolt stuff than yeah , if you mean the shock lion shout , than , wel yes and no , its a good skill , i personaly dont use it , but its realy great to knock off the last bid of hp from a mob if its still standing after a nuke

And the nukes, of course. Fire nuke book 1 can be left at level 1 if you want, since the second book is stronger and only 1 level is required. However, fire nuke 1 may be your only skills which is ranged and hits only one target, making it valuable when fighting uniques that would smish you if you got close or aggroed a bunch of mobs.

The majority of those high levels botted up enough SP to get whatever they like. They will likely run out of mastery points in the future and have to get rid of something.
Personally I wear garments and am switching to armor at the seventh degree. It is up to you, but I like to run fast. The only reason I now switch to armor is because all the best mobs to grind at my level are physical damage, and the same goes for the stone cave later on. I'll be trying to collect garments as well so I can use both, but you probably can't afford that right now. Pick whatever you like. I recommend garments.
LOL
run fast ? , get graswalk
mana save 20% ? no need , youl have tons of mana
phy defence ?? you dont have any ,i would get armor at some point above lvl 32
and thieving , kinda depends , solo thieving , at around lvl 42 i think , but it could be at lower lvl's if you have like a guild of thieves to help you
get ready to catch alot of crap as a thieve tho
