Dont usually do sigs but i decided to give it a try more into making web templates but I gave it a shot without a tutorial after my i did two or so of them just wondering how I did

I have to agree, the text location isnt the best -

a few other things:
1. The text is hard to read because its black, and the sig is dark.
2. The subject at the right could be lightened up a bit, maybe
add some shading effects (but it really depends on your style).
3. I suggest a border, there are a lot of things you can do to make
one but it just adds a really nice touch, and finishes off a piece.

Other than that, its great! Keep going ^_^

ditch the dropshadow on your focal point, clean up the edges on your focal, create some variances in shading as bluey said, lighten up a bit on the scanlines, bring your text together instead of seperated.
