**** you, dude.
it was a good idea, but it never worked.
If it was good, then how come everybody threw away the idea except China, North Korea, Cuba?
I never said it was a good idea.
I just don't like the idea that you're running around calling community countries "fuckers".

Vietnam
Doesn't count for a lot if you list by countries but that's about 1/5 of the world population.

The idea behind communism isn't such a bad idea if you think about it for a while. It just doesn't work.
In 10 years 50% of all manifactured items are from China. Sounds all nice, but very often the conditions of the workers are terrible.
The documentary China Blue shows this aspect of one of China's problems, and that the owner of the factory is not always to blame.
Tibet? I never knew much about it.
Until I went out for a walk and I met monks from Tibet, who had to flee their country. They were such amazing people, and I will never forget that day.
Tibet should be free.
Over 6000 monasteries are destroyed, 80% of Tibets forests are ruined for wood for the Chinese Government. Monks and nuns are innocent in prisons and are tortured on a regular base, aswell as forced abortion and sterilisation of women in Tibet.

China isn't really communist anymore, the regime is deviant.
Though I don't agree with certain policies. Like the 'Only one child per couple' rule.. i mean there's gotta be a more subtle solution then putting people up for abortion every day.
China is a cool country, they're growing economicly, an we'll all be learning chinese in a couple of years.

It's not only one child per couple actually. The woman can give birth only once. If she gets twins or triplets she can keep both of them.
but i heard that they changed it now...to 3 children..oh
and as for communism not working...lol works a hell lot better then
capitalism, i mean compare cuba and china to some of the so called
"super powers"...they cant touch them. Cuba has the worlds best
education system and health service and China has the worlds largest
and fastest growing industry and economy(second only to Indian also
belived to over take US by 2010, changing the top 3 to, 1=China 2=India
3=USA).
I mean communism is a much better principle that capitalism....but you
have all been brainwashed....i mean 1960's American and England hated
communism because it took power from the government and gave it to
the people via non-government controlled industries, lol so no wonder
they spent the best part of the last 50 years bad mouthing them...scared
of an uprising in their own countires like what happend to Tzarist Russia.

communist is an idea, which emphasis on equality. i suggest you visit china and compare in during the times of imperialism, before using the f word.

not really the "one child policy" before was a strict policy under Mao, which only farmers could have more than one child. These days having one child bring less taxes and more governmental benefits, and the fact that raising a kid is a big liability to the parents, most end of having 1 or no child.
i'm actually happy china doing something about the population, while look at India (no offense) they need to work their population growth.

+1 people must realize what countries like china and india has been threw. Imperialism during the 19th century to both countries were harassed and when the European countries left, they had to rebuilt and reshape almost everything. Ideologies such as communism and nationalism arise, which captured the hearts of the people.

Not quite true. Sure in the USSR and china there was only one party, but that not what communism is about.
It's based on equality in everything. There's no such thing as property. All people get the same paycheck. The list goes one.
The communism you talk about is the dictatorial regime by 1 person like Stalin or Mao, but that's not the point.
There are countries where 1 person/party has nearly absolute power.
Countries like the US and France where there's no such thing as a coalition between 2/3 parties in the government.
But you can't call those countries communistic, can you?

Communism was a fantastic idea (by the idea only).
For about 50 years communism reigned here in Romania too. The idea of equality is attractive by itself. But equality means lacking private proprierty. This is where and why communism failed lammentably.
In china, it still thrives, because the goverment has taken measures to make a sort of market economy, but still under the strict control of the sate.
My 0,02$ about communism.
