astral after +7

i know that astral prevents falling below +4 after you reach +4, but does it also prevent falling below +7 after you reach +7? or is +4 the highest it can keep?

so astral wont fail from +3 to +4? it'll only fail from +4 to +5 and so on?

yes...
***if the weapon is +1 and has an astral on it...it should not "disapper" until you go for +5


basically get your weapon / item to +4 then astral (or maybe you got a drop that was immortal/astral for you :) )

so if you fail to +5 it will use the astral and go back to +4...
astrals are only good 1 time so double check them...
you must have immortal (which is for attempting to +6 or higher, supposed to keeped weapon from being destroyed...) in order to ad an astral..


hope that makes sense..

WRONG! Astral doesn't affect your chances of getting it up to +4. If you are going to +3, you can still fail it. Astral is only a checkpoint basically. If you manage to get to +4, then go ahead and put astral on it so that when it fails going to +5, you don't drop to 0.

No, Someone said one an earlier thread that KSRO has an astral that can keep +7, but it's not in ISRO yet, but hopefully it will be later.

well i have heard that at ksro people who have +7 and try higher + with astral get to keep their +7 i think its true even if its not they still have a much higher chance of success in alchemy

Failing +5 kills your astral, +6 kills your astral and immortal, +7 kills your astral and steady. Don't know about +8, never tried it.

i dont know if it was a glitch or what, but one time i put an astral on a wep, failed to +5, and the astral stayed... has this ever happened to anyone else?
