How the **** is such a low amount of heat killing so many people? Here in America we had heat waves of like 115°, and had nowhere near the deaths the UK has had.
Proves you are truely american 30 degrees here is 86 in america as we are metric if you didnt already know. Also due to england been a fairly wet country we get a very wet and sticky heat, much easier to become dehydrated compared to drier heats in other countries. Finally we are not used to it, our homes are built to be warm, we dont have air conditioning in our homes and work.
So for people to die its not uncommon here, its the same with snow we hardly get it so are never able to get used to it been around and it completly messes everything up.
