I mean, it already took me 30 minutes to get into my skinny jeans this morning, my total time in front of the mirror today was an Hour, including doing my hair, looking at myself, seeing if shit matched and all that stuff.. and I only had school for what, 15 minutes? And it'll take me another 15 mins to take it off again tonight.
Yeah...

Are we talking about the scarf? Yeah that's just us stupid Puny Europeans actually making an effort to look good even for the smallest moments.

I'm a metrosexual.

But back on topic, those prices are insane! All that money for a scarf just so it doesn't match someone else's scarf? Goddam. I bought a $10 scarf from DangerField and it's epic! No way would I 'budget' 600 pounds on a friggen scarf. I would much rather pay for rent for a month >_>

We Westerners understand that. But we know when we shouldn't do something, their is no point or a MALE to do all of that unless it is a special occasion.
I can understand girls but a guy spending that long just seems useless.

Lies. Last night it only took us a few seconds.

Coming from a guy who calls himself a 'metro', I can say this is one of the silliest things I've ever heard. Why shouldn't a male go to that kind of effort? Are you really so close minded and sexist that you believe only women should try and look their best whilst men shouldn't care about their apperance 99% of the time?
I 'prettify' myself basically any time I go out, par work or just buying some milk up the street. My main reason behind doing it, apart from making myself look the best I can, is to feel the best I can. I'm not sure if other people get this, but I get an insane confidence boost when I can look in the mirror and say "yeah Twilly, your looking snazzy today!" I walk outside and everything I do is done with a lot more confidence. And a bit of a tip here: people love confidence. I use to be very shy and didn't get out of my shell much and my social status reflected it. Now I've found since I'm a lot more confident, people are just sort of gravitating to me. I find myself the centre point of many discussions even when I don't want to be. I find that really attractive store clerks flirt with me without me trying to initiate anything, and I'm way out of their league. I even get random people come up and talk to me for no goddam reason at all! It's awesome I swear it.
I swear, I'd never go back to just waking up, slapping on any old clothes and leaving the house. Should one gender be restricted to making themselves feel better? God no, that's just plain silly.
Don't get me wrong, real beauty comes from within. But filling yourself with confidence by making yourself look pretty is a great way to let that inner side shine.

rofl at this post first of all.
nothing wrong with spending time trying to look good, but to pay quite a bit for a scarf just to "trump" someone else seems stupid/like a waste.
