Anyways, I have a Presario F700 notebook, it's the best computer I've ever owned and I like it alot, however, there are three aspects of it I'd like to upgrade, two more important than others.
First, is ram. I'm pretty sure my computer can handle two Crucial (brand name) 1 GB DDR-2 PC2-4200 RAM, for it has two ram slots and I'm pretty sure the max each can hold is 1GB so this works out perfectly, however, I have a question:
First, what is the pin count of a Presario F700 notebook? I haven't actually opened it up yet, so it might actually tell me, but if anyone could answer that it'd be great.
Second, is graphics card. This is the aspect of the computer I least understand. This computer has the best graphics card I've ever owned, but it's still not that great. I mean, it can run any of the games I've ever put into it, but I've used better computers, my GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce 7000M/nForce 610M.
So my question is, where the hell does the graphics card go? lol. I don't know where it's located in the computer, maybe when I pop my computer open I'll see it, but for my current understanding of computers, I have no idea where it goes. Also, what is a better GPU, and is it relatively cheap (also, I like NVIDIA, so let's try and keep it in the NVIDIA family
Third, is the harddrive, I have almost no questions about it, except is it possible to dual link two harddrives? I have an older computer with... I what size harddrive it is, but if it's easily done (or possible), I'd like to link the two harddrives together to function as one (assuming the other HDD is compatable with my motherboard)
Yup, that's it, thanks for your help.
