Issue here. spear nuker

my issue:

I want a spear nuker with fire nukes. I know that it would be the best (with relatively less sp) if i go light/cold/heuksal. But i want fire nukes, they just look so cool .

So what kind of build would be good? I needs to be a spear nuker and needs to have fire as nuke, without loads of sp.

Please help me
And do not mention that holland has lost the eurocup...I KNOW!

You will need ice for a spear nuker, hybrid or not. So it'll be either 90 ice/lit/fire, or you gotta drop fire for 90 ice/lit/heuksal (dropping lit for an int is just plain stupid)

if u really want fire, u will definitely need to make sacrifice and go hybrid
this build require 100+k sp less than the 1 below

oke als s/s moet je pure int gaan want je hebt een shield of je kan hybrid alsj e arm bent en niet vee lalchemy doet..maar voor spear moet je build

maar jij wilt fire dus ik zou dan full force gaan
fire light en ice en je kan 7:1 gaan als je spear bent want je krijgt geen extra hp erbij
maar het enige build met fire is full force s/s
voor spear zie ik dat niet zo
full force s/s is pure int dan
je kan het ook met spear doen.. maar je hebt geen defence
voor int heb je iig light nodig voor magical% erbij dmg en heb je ook gelijk speed
en ice voor die mana shield
dus kies maar.. 1 over, fire of heuksal
maar ik zou beste in jouw geval full force, full int s/s gaan

How about that, cuz i think that light isnt that important. Only thing it does, is adding a little % to your magical attack, but the nukes of fire are hitting bit higher anyway. And the speed.. of course.

light nukes,
some heuksal

juz to prove to u that 90 flame wave wide > 90 light nuke

My term of comparison was my lv 70 S&S nuker. I had Horse's thunderbolt and compared it to Flame wave Wide and Flame wave burning.

Maybe it's a different story at level 80, but that was what I found. Also, you can see that the damage RANGE of lightning is larger than that of fire.
Here are some facts on the maxed nukes:

Horse's thunderbolt lv 6: 728 - 1352 (300%)-> difference = 624
Flame wave Wide lv 13: 780 - 1300 (330%) -> difference = 520
Flame wave Burning lv 18: 709 - 1182 (300%) -> difference = 473.

It would make sense that the fire nuke hits more stable at level 80 too, but maybe experience proves otherwise.

Trust LockStar on this one, though. I've been just level 70, whereas he is 80.


EDIT: here are the nuke facts at level 90:

Book 5 fire nuke - lv 89: 1028 - 1714 (315%) -> difference = 686
Flame wave wide - lv 90: 1060 - 1766 (330%) -> difference = 706
Level 90 thunderbolt: 989 - 1837 (300%) -> difference = 848

This is where my claim finds support. It might be the other way around effectively in game, but the numbers seem to support what I said. Note that I did not take into account the "%" increases for each nuke. They might just make the difference between how hard the different nukes hit.

Conclusively, only game experience can tell.

and fire imbue + 90 flame wave wide > light imbue + 90light nuke
its more than enough to offset the 3% mag dmg u lose for light 60 compared to light 90
3% x (assuming) 15k dmg = juz 450 dmg

just to add a note, remember that those low and high maxes on nuke damages are controled and refer directly to your attack rating compared to ur opponents parry ratio...

so if you have a low attack rating, using light will not be consistent, but if you concentrate on having the highest attackrating on your weapon and 100% parry ratio blues, and even pump it up with a hit scroll.. lighting will be just as effective, and ull notice when you get those close to max damage nukes more often....

at the end, i think droping lighting is a big mistake, beacuse sooner or later, you have to keep deleveling, and then ull really feel a big loss of damage if you keep droping light, or die very easily if you keep droping ice

yea agreed, juz that the OT said he wants fire real bad and its still feasible at 90 cap

100 cap = no more hybrid or fire for chinese int and the only way is 100 ice 100 light 100 weap

so its juz for this 90 current cap, but who cares maybe u have already quitted when 100 cap comes

ok, but if i choose light, the attack (nuke/imbue, whatever) will attrackt some other mobs, who i cant tank. so fire would be a better choise imo cause it doenst attrackt any mobs.

And, could someone give a short answer why i should max light above fire?

edit: can i have both nukes? fire/light? that would be awesome.

edit 2: ive read the awesome spearguide, the ultimate one.

edit 3 , and if i get your points. My build, or the ultimate spearguide build, is good for the 90 cap? But if there comes a 100 cap, its useless?

My only doubt atm about light, is that it attracks mobs. And that's excactualy what you don't want, cuz you cant tank them right?

So does any of you (spear nukers) has problems with that?

nukers are supposed to kill multiple mobs at 1 time lol thats why its fast leveller

90light 90ice 90 spear juz level up the snow storm rain as well (AOE ice nuke), its useful in freezing and giving some dmg
2 light nuke + 1 ice nuke + ghost spear should be more than enough for grind and killing more than 1 mob at 1 time

there are only 3 masteries u can max at this cap, so if u want all fire light spear, u hv to give up ice , which is suicide
so if u really want fire light nukes, den do a non weapon nuker, ice/light/fire 90 (it will be WEAK in 1v1, better for group fights, cuz no disabling skills)

2:1 to 6:1 hybrid fire90 spear90 light60 ice60
7:1 to pure int light90 spear 90 ice90

ultimately @ 100 cap, u will HAVE TO do 100ice 100spear 100light for sure, but 100 cap is at least 1.5 years away

Because of the low lightning, and, having maxed fire, the build needs to rely on physical attack pretty much. You would be wearing protectors, because earth fire protection supplements for your magical defense.

With my naked balance of 84 I have no real issues with nuking.
I nuke normal mobs and champs mainly because I won't need to run around that much to increase my kill ratio.
When I encounter a giant though I use heuksal skills to decrease the time to kill the giant.

No idea how it'll work out at higher levels though.
