Yet you continue to read Granpa's posts, which are 10 times longer, and confuse 90% of the people on this forum. People ask questions on a forum, or make a response, and you expect me to sit back and say "well, I know the answer, but I'll just sit here and say nothing while they sit there uninformed." It may seem that I'm a know it all. I completely understand that sentiment. In fact, I am not a know it all. I am constantly asking questions. I ask at least 200 questions a day in real life. It is these questions I ask that get me the answers that allow me to make these "know-it-all" posts.

I guess it would be prefered that I joined the crowd that just posts fun forum "games" and mindless nonsense. I guess I should just sit back, post in the "1001 Way To Die" and "Post the Job of the Person Above You" threads, and act like I know absolutely nothing. Yes, that is exactly what the internet was designed for anyway right?

The attitude that comes off your informative posts is what gets me. It always sounds like somewhere in each righteous crusade to save "lazy" people you still find space to be an asshole in the way you write. If you want to be the smart guy go for it, but god damn, please do so in a way that it doesn't seem like you're aiming to show others you are.

Face it, this is just a forum among a billion others on the internet. Just because we don't care to know or read something, or answer someone's question when we're very able, doesn't mean we're the same off the keyboard. It comes off because humans have pattern recognition. My guess is that Reise knows a few know-it-alls in real life, and they really annoy him. The magic of forums and IMing is that there is no emotion displayed. Plus, since this is a forum, he doesn't know me in real life AT ALL. So, naturally, all he can do is assume. Obviously his assumption is that I'm an asshole know-it-all that doesn't know how to relax and enjoy mindlessness, which is not the case. I just don't go out of my way to comment on mindlessness. I do however go out of my way to do one of the following:

A) Give knowledge where people seek it.
B) Correct a fallacy.
C) Defend myself when others are clearly attacking me.

I never really used sites to learn C++. I picked up the O'Rielly book, and another off book. Between the two, I was able to start writing some good stuff pretty quickly.

Also, even though it's more difficult to learn, C is a much better hacking language. Not only because the language itself is basically DESIGNED to write amazing buffer overflows, but because once you wrap your mind around C, all other languages become infinitely easier to grasp.

I chose you to call out because you made "correcting lazy people" a habit, and it became annoying. Thanks, by the way, Puppet is of those whom I consider a "stranger in my gate". All he need do is lay hand on the the center post of my 'tent' and I will die prior to seeing harm come to him. Dude yuo should lower your standards. I started learning XHTML about about 2 weeks ago and it is easy. I only practice for about 1-2 hours a day and i have learned a lot of stuff.

I know what your saying XHTML has nothing to do with this but it does. Every language takes time to learn and you have to start small. You should start with a small program like one that refreshes the browser window or a timer.

Heres a tip thats helping me. Go to a find a c++ conding forum and search around. Compile as many c++ tutorial websites as you can ( using google or any searh engines) and start reading. You have to admit the fact that c++ is one of the hardest languge and you won't be ready to hack for atleast after a year of training.... ( i've tried before but stop trying because i was too busy for it)

Your going to need to sacrifise time to learn how to *hack*.

Think about all the things that your going to need before you make a big desicion like this.

The only people i can think of that know some coding language are Cruor and NuclearSilo.
Maybe you should ask them .

You have to admit the fact that c++ is one of the hardest languge

I loled. There are a LOT harder languages than C++. In fact, besides Visual Basic and Python, it's the easiest. It may be one of the most complex (through it's potential), but it's not hard. Try learning something like Perl, or C, or Basic, or Cobalt, or Fortran, or Pascal. You want hard, try Machine Code (which Doom 3 was compiled in).

Piracy forums are waaaaaaay too famous right now and you can learn to crack stuff really easy if they loved you enough to teach/assist you..which is kinda fun..you just gotta prove yourself.

Hacking is a whole other world though...to even begin to perform some kinds of hacking you have to reach like the ultimate level of no-outside-life-whatsoever.

I once tried it..just wasnt my thing...too much crap to learn..and too many languages as others stated.

I tried to learn how to "hack" once...and the result: dozens of piracy sites bookmarks...lots of pirate friends..lots of crap to learn (almost like school)..so when the real school came i just gave up.

One thing thats pissing me off though is that i nearly spent 1~2 years of my life down that road and i havent perfected any programming language so far...well...i think i was a little good at C# but i sucked at all the others...was too lazy/didnt have much time to learn.

TBH its not really worth the hassle mate...unless you have loads of free time.

good advice i was just woundering what i should learn after hmtl/css etc.... with the small programming, i do know a little, like refrshing browsers, alerts and prompts etc, just basic javascript stuff. i do realize that its going to take a lot of time, but i got a lot of time lol. i'll try and find some good forums, ty for ur advice
