Like if I have to travel to the other side of an area for a quest and it takes 5 minutes to get there, and then I'd need to go back if I needed supplies or to empty my inventory... it gets very tedious very fast.
Also for a game that's so based on teamwork, there's very little teamwork going on in the lower level areas. The largest extent of teamwork I saw, was Lv70s helping low level through dungeons. That was it. No banding together to do something.
I dunno, I just guess it really didn't take my fancy when I played it. It was fun at first, but then it got boring pretty quickly.

Questing is only fun when you're geared for it. The QuestHelper mod marks your map with all your quests, and traces a line to do them in the order that will be most efficient. Also, with the expansion, binding your hearthstone to shattrath means you can get to anywhere in the game in less than a couple minutes.
Rolling on a server is something that takes careful reflexion. Teamwork is non existant because on most servers people are already 70 and have friends in their guild to roll their alts. The best way to get around this is to play with friends, whether they be in real life or met through a forum or another game.
I tried wow when it came out, and I didn't like it at all. I came back when a guy on my CSS team told me to start playing with him, so I started playing it on the offseason. A couple weeks later two of my real life friends started playing, and that was a couple months ago.
The game, like any game, is only enjoyable if you have people to play with. The difference between this game and other games, is the sheer complexity and depth of things you can do with your friends, which also means that playing alone is so much more complicated and challenging.

Dungeons suck on Madoran though cause no one is ever willing to do them with meAnd once again, what does 1337 mean? (Nooby Q I know
