Nice. I just started playing again and got my hunter to 35 yesterday. Gonna get to 39 and do a shat load of warsong gulch and arathi basin pvp. Then I'll get my ass up to 70 8) So much easier than sro to lvl up. BTW in risk of sounding like a noob, what the hell is 1337?

I think to a new player, the expansive world is a bit daunting and can be a bit of a problem. Like if I have to travel to the other side of an area for a quest and it takes 5 minutes to get there, and then I'd need to go back if I needed supplies or to empty my inventory... it gets very tedious very fast.

Also for a game that's so based on teamwork, there's very little teamwork going on in the lower level areas. The largest extent of teamwork I saw, was Lv70s helping low level through dungeons. That was it. No banding together to do something.

I dunno, I just guess it really didn't take my fancy when I played it. It was fun at first, but then it got boring pretty quickly.

Questing is only fun when you're geared for it. The QuestHelper mod marks your map with all your quests, and traces a line to do them in the order that will be most efficient. Also, with the expansion, binding your hearthstone to shattrath means you can get to anywhere in the game in less than a couple minutes.

Rolling on a server is something that takes careful reflexion. Teamwork is non existant because on most servers people are already 70 and have friends in their guild to roll their alts. The best way to get around this is to play with friends, whether they be in real life or met through a forum or another game.

I tried wow when it came out, and I didn't like it at all. I came back when a guy on my CSS team told me to start playing with him, so I started playing it on the offseason. A couple weeks later two of my real life friends started playing, and that was a couple months ago.

The game, like any game, is only enjoyable if you have people to play with. The difference between this game and other games, is the sheer complexity and depth of things you can do with your friends, which also means that playing alone is so much more complicated and challenging.

I had the QuestHelper mod, as I just dropped my friend's install onto my hard drive to avoid downloading 1GB+ in updates. Yeah, I didn't really have anyone to play with. The only person I actually knew in the game who was on a fair bit already has two Lv70 characters. =/

So yeah, the community probably didn't help me in the slightest.

Why so many ppl knock on wow? They probably haven't played it. PVP is the best I think. I only do the quests because they give good Xp most of the time. Dungeons suck on Madoran though cause no one is ever willing to do them with me :( And once again, what does 1337 mean? (Nooby Q I know

Or just google it.
I prefer being 1338 any day though.
