I do admit i snuck into a bot plvl for like an hour before inspection once, a freind join it and when the plvler went afk he invited people into the party, only gained 30% at lvl 40, so that i suppose that part counts as non legit so i can't technically say 100%, unless its ok so long as we ripped off the bot who was charging like 1 m for that night and 4 people got in the party for free after he went afk, what would you consider me?

Those are definatly not legitimate and are classic examples of exploiting the game for undue personal advantage.

Nothing that bad about that perhaps. It is a good way to get scammed and loose your money or acct. But if the goods are legit well then I would not do any of it but it hardly destroys the game.

I've been wondering the offical srf stance on these issues but never really have seen an answer. All the things he posted make you not a legit according to silkroad. Of course some of them are stupid, like the share account with friend. The rest however give you an unfair advantage over a 100% legit person, so it's wrong.

There is no difference between a multiclient (for stuff like plvling yourself or stalling) compared to having 2 computers.
And the no-dc client is just some fix for Joymax's tricks to make people buy more premiums.
Zoomhack is just zoomhack, big deal you can zoom further out, it won't give you any advantage
PK2 editing again makes no advantage to the player and doesn't make your character less legit, unless they find some ways to cheat with PK2 editing (don't think that will take long)

Legit=genuine character, built by hand, anything above in my eyes is still legit because you are still building your character by hand by ONLY using the above things

hacking Honestly, I only use my hacking skills for good deeds, aka "white hat" hacking. Namely, being hired by government/private sector companies to do vulnerability/risk assessments on their systems. Hacking in the sense you are talking about would be unethical, and against the Code of Ethics of the CISSP, among other things.

The no-dc client gives an unfair advantage because you can use it to log on more easily than others, even without buying premium. It's Joymax's game. They can put any "tricks" in it that they want. You don't have to play.

Zoom hack and pk2... Well I guess you could turn Tiger Girl into Roc, zoom out to see all of Tiger Mountain and maybe make her 50x her size or something so you can find her easier.

Also, pk2, you can change 3rd degree weapons to something else so you can see who is only lvl 64 and who is lvl 80 more easily.
