I think most of the old servers can be written off. Oasis, where I came from, has a great legit union (Defiance) but such a massive bot population that it really wasn't fun. Now that the botters are running 10-20 clientless goldbots each, its even more miserable.

Using Euro parties, legits on the new servers show that they can own botters. FW allows those legits to make enough money to keep owning the botters. I really hate JoyMax for not banning botters, but they are giving legits to tools to own them ourselves. Avalon has shown that, in the right hands, these tools are effective.

Avalon has established the template for owning botters on new servers. It looks like legits on Hera are going to use that template to even greater effectiveness (won't make some of the mistakes Avalon did).

I still can't figure out why someone would bot on Venus. I know it doesn't take a lot of work to bot, but to what end? Wouldn't that 500M gold your bots collected serve you better on an old server that has suns and bot unions that own the fortress and would love to have you? If I was going to bot, it would be on a server where I could actually do something, make some friends, win PvP or GW once in a while, buy some suns. I'd cut my losses now if I were botting on Venus.

I'm extreemly happy a Legit union actualy wan FW. Yaaay. But don't get ur hopes too high. Every bot union on Rome has like 5 lvl 80 fully farmed clerics that keep rotating Bless Spells. Not to mention a bajilion dagger rogues 1 hitting everything. What server is Avalon btw...I think I want to join up!

You don't have to not agree to be a bot. Its just that many of those that don't agree provide poor arguments. I.E botters are people to, gold bots are the real problem, etc. So far, many of those that didn't agree have turned out to be a botters themselves. That only reinforces the generalization that everyone who disagrees must be bots.

As for me, 100% legit. I'm a hardcore gamer so I see no reason to break the rules. The game is fairly easy and straightforward.

A legit, hand grinded Euro can out level a bot. easily. We did it. Once most of the union reaches a certain point, if the bots get ahead, it wont matter, cause grouped euros are way stronger. Bots can only get ahead when it's chinese vs. chinese. They cant really bot euros that well, only powerlevel them. The legit euro guilds have instant advantage and the bots are screwed.
