lvl 20 Pure INT Archer

Alright So far I have been playin and I have a problem with dieing alot. But I do amazing damage. I was wondering I this a good choice and if i should get armor with +STR and +INT with it. Just needing some advise. I am currently in an argument. I was told that FULL INT was the way to go for archers and yet im having some troubles with it. If anyone has any advise please feel free to pass it on this way.

if you're pure int, you should be dying quite a lot. I think pure int should get +str equips or hp equips, but thats just me.

+str equips will unbalance ur balance (lol?)

go for the +hp since we just got the new alchemy

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I tested, equipting eq with +str won't lower your magical balance therefore if you can, just go for +str+int stuff.

No it wont. Magical balance only depends of ur INT and ur level. Physical balance only depends of ur STR and ur level. Theres no reason to not get STR stated set as an int.

But full int is not the way to go if u want to be an archer. Archers, as any other character that will be hitting only with his weapon, should be FULL STR. All pacheon skills are physical skills. And a good archer depends of his big criticals to win a fight and ur criticals depends of ur physical balance. As an int, ur physical balance will be very low and ur criticals will be low also. U wont have hp to tank, cauz ur int. And u will do less damage them an int nuker. There is no reason to make an int archer... unless u want to get owned at PvP by everyone.

Well, you didnt mention what kind of equipment you have.
If you are garment/protector you would want to swich to armor.

INT archer.... I frown on

INT archer gonna use nukes, assumed.

If you gonna nuke, why not have a shield too?

Now you can nuke....and block... and live.

Actually, if you level bow skills and have a pretty decent bow, it's not so bad

THe only time you should die is when you do somehting stupid, like aggro 2+ bandits, let 2+ earth ghosts, etc...

arneTTi, how much of the bow skills have you leveled? If it's not much then you can easily switch o glaive/spear and deleel a few skills later on. If it's extensive though, then I'd start over. Getting a char to 20 again takes about 2-3 days at roughly 6 hours a day. The cost of deleveling a full bow tree is much longer lol (my l29 pure int [nuker] archer w/ a full bow tree is gonna take about 10M gold + 3XX curst hearts, it's going to be deleted)
