need some help...

well the case is i need design like a standard site about my self. with some pages and something with site sheets or wathever in 4 weeks and it has to be made with notepad.><
so any1 got any advice on how to make a cool one?
know i should do this by myself but havent started yet>.< so

Yay!!! Coding for websites using notepad from scratch is what I do and I would love to help you out.

First thing, before you touch ANY code, is you have to have a design. So take out your paint, and roughly draw what kind of layout you want it to be, and I'll guide your step by step <3

also need to use extern style sheets :S

i wanted to make it with photoshop but if i do it i dunno how to use style sheets.=/ and +also i have to use tables.

Well I didn't know you can make websites with Photoshop so I'll teach you the old fashioned way.

First you have the overal layout for the site


This will be accomplished by combination of HTML and CSS. HTML is for coding the backbone and the content, CSS (cascading style sheets) will decorate the elements on the site

A very important concept here is DIVs. They are like boxes, you lay them out, you put boxes inside each other and make beautiful designs.

First of all show me how you will make a simple HTML page with title "My website" and put some sentences in there =) I'm sure you studied that. The Google some tutorials about CSS div, read about them and we'll get started.

We'll start on the banner first. Do you have a banner already?

i used to make nice pix in photoshop
then load those in flash, make interface with flash
then load flash file into dreamweaver
then upload onto an ftp

hehe i have to use a flash intro with macromedia my teacher said i could use dreamweaver but i cant use it like full and forget all the html commands. and let the programm do everything:P

milli i see u gave me the lay out and stuff but i think i need some more help with the commands and stuff and the ordering ><
cuz im rlly new to the css and the style sheets thing.. only heard that word once in class.

i alrddy learned the basics like forms/tables/body, heads and stuff like that. but nvr got divs o__O
trying to follow some tuts atm on google. =/

Well the thing is I dunno how much you have. Post me some code and link me to SS of your site and I'll see what I can do. I mean I can practically tell you what you have to write for each section but I dunno how much you did on your own =)
