"Please execute Silkroad.exe"???

HI all,

Just installed Silkroad and very eager to play.HOWEVER,

When i double-click on the desktop icon to launch Silkroad, a do-hicky thingy pops up and says "Please execute Silkroad.exe".....please help me whatta i do!?!?!?!?

A) try restarting your comp.

B) Try running it from C:/Program Files / Silkroad / sroclient.exe

ok thanks for the info.....double-click on sroclient....."PLEASE EXECUTE SILKROAD.EXE"..............................AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH IM GOING CRAZY HERE!!!!!

wow thats tough

actually im surprised sro managed to get itself running on so many computers in the west anyway because basically, its extremely difficult to get a chinese language program working on a western computer (font problems, chinese windows problems etc etc)

My System specs. are posted on the......"ok guys how would you feel if..." post please refer to that post to check if my computer is compatible.

I have actually had the same problem. Well for one your graphics card may not be good enough. I had that problem with mine. so that might be it, try updating it. I did, and it works.

its not silkroad client....-_-

err if you're opening sro_client instead of silkroad.exe then it will ask you to open silkroad.exe. As for it being a major problem, there's probably another reason it would show this message.

Is ur client in your silkroad folder? If its not, it wont run.
