cons: can only hit 1 mob

light pros: hits multiple mobs, and gives u a higher chance to crit more often
cons: not as strong as fire, multiple mobs on u could kill u(if ur an int)

light and more crits? oO it only reduce parry ratio but I don't think that increase chance of crits as well...but maybe it is so, my low lvl pure str bow got light as imbue

Yes it does increase crit ratio like 3+ times, I have lv 13 bow with 4 Critical, but when I use light imbue I hit critical like every 3-4 hits o_O I have fire imbue too, but I don't like it, only 5 or so more percent damage.

there was a weird data recording test thing done here a couple months ago and it tallied up the number of crits between all imbues and yeah light crit more times but i think it was just a coincidence.

i use light, i like it better.

light:
with lightning chain and light imbue you can put status on multiple targets.
lower damage
if target is not immune you can lower his parry and therefor making more damage that fire.


fire:
highest damage.

damage difference between all imbue is not that huge.

Im making a bow... As most know, crits are very important in bows... so can someone tell me if that thing about light imbue giving more crits... is it really true? :O

really confuse whether 1:2 spear need to get fire/light...

actually people are taking light because it will leave a room for ice mastery(snow shield attraction)...

how high is the level of the snow shield that 1:2 spear can use?

Light doesn't add an increase to crit, that's a myth. It does decrease parry ratio and if you happen to be fighting someone without pills or immunity. It hurts alot. Ive seen the difference between parry ratio and it will increase a nuke or attack by a good 5%-25% more damage. Burn status will do alot less.
