First off, wait 10 more years before you start getting involved in a conversation. I'm not here to talk trash, none of the people that bot talk shit to you legits. Do whatever you want. If drama is what your ultimate goal is, well so be it.

Secondly, I have my own server that I play on. I don't move to a diff server just cuz something is "in the way of my fun." All of Avalon ran off to a new server cuz they couldnt take what was on thier current servers. [I won't go insulting, so i'll leave that at that.]

Thirdly, Venus isn't the only server with strong Euro based guilds/unions. They are only the most public cuz they are the only guild so up themselves they feel they have to tell the world of iSRO that they are "badass." Which by all means is just fine. Congratz to them for everything they have accomplished.

Lastly, the reason you won't lose that fort is cuz people do not join that server in order to appose you, they join in order to join this grand "Anti-bot" community that Avalon has created. People figure they cant escape bots elsewhere, so why not do it in a server taken over by theEMPIRE.

What fun do you get in not playing the game? What is there for you to do when you just stand around DW south all day comparing e-penises? Just because you got bored, doesn't mean everyone did.

You can be capped within a few months playing just a few hours a day. But you didn't realise you don't have to play all the time, so you just started botting. It's pretty sad for you, you can't control your addiction so you have to have something play for you when you can't.

I also laugh at the life comment, considering most bots babysit. So you're sitting there, watching your bot kill for you? WTF, why not just play yourself? You'd have more fun and you'd have more fun.

It's the journey not the destination. Take your time, there's no rush.

It isn't that hard to remake an account, even on a proxy [which runs slower usually.] Besides, you don't get banned unless you are proven to be a botter. What prevents a banned botter from blending right back in [much like we have been anyways], and just remaining anonymous? Like I said before [Sapporo, Nyahgis;] what I usually post has nothing to do with how awesome my bot is, I don't flame the "legits," and I usually try to contribute to threads that are worth my time. Botters aren't stupid, botters aren't ignorant, and botters know just as much about the game as you would.

Whether somebody bots or not has little to do with how he/she participates on SRF. Sure, some botters are assholes, but there's no exception amongst legits. This war is futile. All you do is ban active and informative members, of some you didn't even know botted nor even had the faintest clue.

Anyways, I'll see you around. I already have an account made on a seperate saved proxy that I will be using for my new forum account once I feel like posting in GD again.

i think it would be a good idea for the mods of this section to get a list on ban-able programs cause obviously there are people here who have very little knowledge and srecm 'BOT' at any chance. for the record.. botmon is not a botting client in anyway and its website clearly states that so please don't say its a bot again because i hate ignorance.

Precisely. Why do you need a third party utility to tell you things you can see on your screen already, or to tell you how many times you've been stuck and attempt to unstick you? FFS, you can SEE THAT if you're sitting there.

What I'm confused about is why you, someone who posts here as a legit, would have used such a tool, GrindingEternaly.

Will if your client is 'Legit' you cant open more than one iSRO client so the point of using botmon (hence the name) would be?...

But yeah i know legits who are getting their characters pleveled that use this, so they can mini the screen and see what % their char is etc...

please don't say i bot because i dont. i've been playing this game since the early days and have never once used a bot or supported it. its COMMON KNOWLEDGE about botmon seeing i've had manhy friends become botters and thus hering things about these programs. so don't call me a bot cause of your ignorance. think first post second . should be something you should write on your hand so you don't forget.

Lol if you want to minmize your screen you just CTRL+ALT+DEL , right click sro_client and select minimize.

If people are so lazy as to cheat in a gane, clicking and pressing 123, pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del and a few clicks would kill them.

Still didn't answer my question as to why you would've used such a utility. If you personally haven't used it, who's not to say your bot friends didn't pull the wool over your eyes?

In all honesty, Botting in an MMOrpg isn't lazy. Some people like to actually be capped, and don't have the time to play this horribly boring game.
I like to be a high level, I would NEVER waste 1~2 years of my time each day sitting down clicking 1234 while 90% of the other players are AFK doing whatever else.

One more thing before I take my "leave".. I play FPS games sometimes - That is truely where botting is a horrid thing. Being able to shoot is a skill, that doesn't take long to acquire. But hey.. they're alot easier to ban anyway when you have your own server. ^_^

If you can't handle the grind, go play a different game. Laziness and a "want to be capped" is merely motivation, not a justification.

You can enjoy the game at any level, but you seem to forget that. Just play 2-3 hours a day, even less. Enjoy your time.

Just to clarify the arguements.

botMon is not a bot! botMon is primarily a tool that displays info of characters logged into Silkroad Online.
botMon only requires that you be running a silkroad online client, but it wont be as useful as when paired with a bot.
Simply put, botMon is a silkroad online bot monitor that supports multi-client.

Taken directly from the botMon site, the program merely shows your info, hp, mp, location etc without having to switch to the sro window, if your botting for example. Yes, it is a tool used by botters to prevent lag etc, but the program itself shouldn't result in a ban.

but, people aren't banned for admitting they use NoDC clients here, which as far as im aware is the next step on from 3rd party, its reversed engineered files which are the property of joymax.

Technicaly X-Fire is thrid party software too. Are you going to ban them for that too.
I dont personally bot, but a LOT of my friends do. And If you ban all the bots you can feel free to say good bye to the SRO community and all your friends, well majority of them. Youl end up playing SRO with 4-5 friends that are legit on an empty server.
