Go with 1h/Warlock.

It'll do well in solo and pt.

In solo -> Switch to warlock first, Debuff and DoTs will help some damage to the mob ure fighting then switch to 1H and finish it up.

In PT -> Switch to warlock first, Debuff, DoTs, Curses will work out right, switch to 1H and just tank and aggro them to you. (Since in a good party, wizards will finish the mobs fast.)

It works for solo, but NOT for party. ~__~ You switch in a party to warlock, theres goes your buffs... and the party died. GG.

Play ONE class ONLY in a party. Don't play your main and your sub at the same time.

The most offensive guy would be a rogue. Since you don't want to use cleric, get bard as sub, and only put points into the xbow skills at the beginning. Later on you can get the dagger skills.

For a little bit more tanking abilities and great damage, go for 2 handed warrior with bard or warlock. I would choose bard, but that's your choice.

Not necessarily true ALL the time.
He would be more usefull if he used his debuffs to lure instead of the shout lure in warrior class as his role as a lurer. And having a warrior/warlock build, those classes work hand in hand sometimes, so i think itd be appropriate to use both AT RIGHT TIMES. not all the time tho
But i disagree about using curses tho, as a pure str build >.>
If the party is training at higher lvl mobs, some classes might want to take turns blessing the party. This requires playing your submastery class for a little bit.

If ur not getting cleric sub, 1h/lock. It is very good in pve and soloing but not so good in parties. Rogue in my opinion needs a cleric sub to unlock its true potential in pvp.

He switches to his warlock rod, thinks he's clever using debuffs to lure mobs and two party members die. Why? Because his warrior buffs went away.

Using your example of Blessing, don't do it with a warrior even if you have a cleric sub. See my above point. Buffs go, those two die.

for solo playing and party play I would recommend 2h warrior/cleric.
1(solo) you won't die, great defense and heal/buff spells(cleric)
2(solo) massive damage couse that incredible 2h sword
3(party) good def so you can block and aggro mobs
4(party) every party ask for a cleric.... you have the sub so you can be either tank or healer xD

Choose right and have fun
