There is no "best" build.

For warlocks, it takes a lot of practice and a bit of luck and prediction. They're not a very straight forward class to play.

It is amazing at low and high levels, but during guild wars and fortress wars, everyone has holy spell, making them almost immune to the curses (if they do work, it has almost no effect). Even then, if you take cleric you can buff/heal, or just use your DoT curses & Nukes. But, if you're low on buffers, I suggest you buff

I'd say that it's the 2nd or 3rd best of the Euros. It doesn't have the ability to wtf pwn lke the others but it has amazing survivability for an Offensive Int Euro. It requires a lot of SP though and I'd rather make a Wizard.

warlock is pretty good char, but if u wanna grind with him it is realy slow at leveling....comparing to wizard(who one shots mobs),warlock needs to use 2-3 curses to kill a mob(curses are killing slowly) so leveling is pretty slow for warlocks....for warlocks only what matters is powerlvling for fast progressing.that is my opinion.....wizard is realy cool for grinding....but it dies too fast if u dont watch....so if u wanna hand grind with him and farmin it is out of question...wizard needs to be power sp farmed before he starts to grind on his own....i would suggest powerleveling on ongs at lvl 24 with 9 gap....buy sp ticket farm him for one month....that should bring you 250-300k of sp....(300k if your lucky) and after that only use 0 gap till the end....if u wanna farm hand grinded make full str xbow rogue...

Holy Spell will only render a stupid warlock useless.

At Lv80, Holy Spell prevents up to Lv8 statuses. At Lv80, a warlock's Disease is Lv9. With Disease on the enemy, every status you inflict is now ALSO Lv9. This means you can hammer them, and they can't stop you.

That's not true, I tried that and disease 9 works but the other statuses after that doesn't get on their holy spell.

Odd, I've had Lv8 Disease overpower Lv7 Holy protection, so I guessed the same would apply for Lv8 vs Lv9

Yeah disease 9 works on the holy spell but I was talking about the other statuses working after that. Wow reading my reply again, I completely missed the point I was attempting to say lol.

at lv80, the diseases go to level9? Pictures? And, yes, warlocks are easy to level with the DoT curses. Also the dude with Avalon owns fortress war picture and I forget your name, A Cleric with integrity can just stop erase the curses, so what would be the point?
Sure, the clerics wouldn't use it at first, but once the party players start complaining about curses, the clerics will start using Integrity and take them away

The whole purpose of Disease is to raise the level of the other curses. AT Lv80, Disease is Lv9 with your curses and debuffs at Lv8. Holy Word protect Lv8. the purpose of the Disease status is to make all effects equal its level of potency. It doesn't do damage, just helps getting things onto enemies. I'll see if anyone's online later to test it.

If thet start using Integrity, they're keaving their healing open for a few seconds, which could be enough time to cripple their party anyway.

Integrity takes one second, So one second won't make a difference, and most guilds/unions don't have 10+ warlocks anyways.

I have warlock, and i know how much time it takes to put curses on enemy. I take... 2 seconds to put 3-5 curses(depends on lags) + 1 second on dots. Integrity cooldown takes 2-3 seconds.

The whole purpose of Disease is to raise the level of the other curses. AT Lv80, Disease is Lv9 with your curses and debuffs at Lv8. I have noticed only that with disease curses never resist on enemy with same level, maybe thats true, but i dont think...

Well they're pretty deadly, true, but one ice wall and it makes their job a lot tougher in 1v1. A lot of people say warlocks excel in 1v1, but I think they are best in group battles, particularly when teamed up with a few warriors.

um... even without debuffs... warlocks are deadly

the dots will kill any pot heals you try...

stuns/sleeps/nukes will kill off whatever you are fighting in war

stuns, sure for about 3-5 seconds, and if your against a SOSUN, for INT's, 1hit, STR's, 2-3hits.
Sleep, canceled by the DoT and you need to disease, otherwise it has like a 20% chance
Nukes 215% can't deny that, very helpful

That's what Sleep + Bloody Trap is for. Of course you need to disease but that is what Stun is there for. All the skills help each other. Stun works 95% of the time and Disease can be inflicted by two skills with 80% chance each, pretty much guaranteeing that the opponent will be diseased. Even with Holy Spell, Wheel Bind can be cast on the enemy to slow them down and kill them with DoT and nukes. With shield trash, keeping STR builds away is made easier.
