got them in the 3rd grade. they were airwalks. had a little a instead of a big a, and the whole shoe was a shiney material. then started wearing vans and es, after that because my brother was a skaterpunk and i thought they were cool.
I could really care less(Yes I know there is no such thing a caring less) what shoes I wear. But I wear Black Rebok classics for school(need to wear black shoes), White rebok classics when I go out. I have Hollister Flip-flops and Jordon 9.5, but I barely wear them.

i got my first pair of vans checkerboard sliders in '85. vans have been around forever!!!!
hey fena, nothin wrong with wearing flip flops. i rock reefs with bottle openers built in to the sole!!! when it comes to shoes and sneaks (kicks, kick peices), i just ordered 5 pairs that i customized from nike.com and puma.com because i can't buy them in stores. i wish i could but noone carries my size. i wear a size US 15, which is the same as UK 14. it sucks. i never get to see the shoes i want in person or try them on before i actually buy them!!!
I've got size 46 in europe size, and that is like.. well.. quite big...
And then you walk into those stores, the most beautiful shoes all screaming: WEAR ME, BITCH! but I can't because they're waay too small for me. and then they only have the most ugly shoes in my size.. Sometimes when the new collection is there, there are some pwety shoes, but for the rest.. I'm glad I don't have a size higher then this, because I else I would have to wear row boats instead...
50% of the population here in New Zealand wear jandals and got damn I hate it when people when those. They wear it everywhere no matter what occasion, no respect and their feet smells bad.
Innovacious wrote:i dont see why people are so crazy about shoes. Im not sure what type mine are, i could go look but i cant be bothered. I have 1 pair of shoes for all occasions, and the last 3 pairs were exactly the same. Its much easier, i know they fit, i know they are comfortable, so i just go in and pick some more up when mine get worn out.
I never pay attention to other peoples shoes. I only really pay attention if they actually try to show them to me, other than that i dont give a crap what shoes other people have or how much money they wasted on them. So all that money people spend on shoes is kind of wasted around me and most people i know.
Can someone please explain why people like shoes so much? even if people did notice them they are probably just gonna say "nice shoes" once and thats it. Is all that money you spent worth someone saying "nice shoes" and then completley forgetting about them?
Second this. Shoes have never appealed to me. I've only a pair of sneakers and a pair of loafers. One for casual, one for serious business.
