Which is better in a shield, BR or defense

hi forum, few days that i dun visit the forum .

Well. i tried the search button and didnt found something which could help me so. Maybe with a poll/coment i can understand better which is better in a shield.

Plz remember, only im cheking which of this 2 mods is better, doenst mind if is +x , +x str/int ,etc.

BR ....but br is weird...i once had a 15 br shield and it blocked decently ...but i also had a br 12 one...and it blocked like every other shot...really weird

You should never rely on your Blocks they are to predictable to base your strats around... always get good defence on oyur shield and then work on the Br... with a good defence you dont need the high brs 16+ is good with 50%+ stats.

A high def makes a good different..It lowers the damage alot. I would still go for the BR although I believe its all luck (like a 12 BR blocks more often than a 15 BR)

+1. A good pvp'er shouldn't rely on blocks to save his skin. He should plan on victory without blocks, then when he blocks, it's a nice little bonus
