A possible way to kick SOME of the botters out the server!

Post by shbly12 »

I posted 2 posts before about ways to stop botting, but they didn't work.
Now I got a new idea which can kick some of the botters out of the server!
When using a return scroll, the person will be asked if he wanna stay in the server or not, if "YES" he'll be returned to the safe zone, and if he clicked "NO" he will be returned to the safe zone and the client will instantly log him off.
And after 10 minutes, if he didn't click "YES" or "NO" he will be out of the server.
Now imagine that all the people or "botters" that stand always on the spawning place without doing anything are gone?
Girls are just like the world's beautiful sun: when you look at them, they're beaaaauuutiful, but when you try to get closer to them, they might hurt you. XD

Seems like it could work. The bots could probably figure out a way around it though...Like everything else.

easy to implement in a bot.
do you even know that there are programs that automatically log in and fill all information including image code?

could work for a little while on normal bots.(till bot programers find a way around it)
since goldbots are clientless anyway it wont really work on them >.<

kinda sad sometimes, that joymax deleted the "protector" to kill bots, and the bugs like freezing bots, or exchanging, get fixed in no time =]

A verification image would be better, like what you get when you log in. But no point in dreaming, its never gonna happen

Really unnecesary thing to do ... I mean what will we do more to the game?
First imageverification ... who needs that?
Now you want to press yes/no while using return scroll ...

Just leave the game as it is now ... Play the game and ignore bots ...

There are other ways to kick bots from the server, just spam them with exchange when they are at a shop (buying things).

I just love how everyone bitches about bots but when a legit person tries to share his idea you all are like "noob and your ideas". This and that. Well no wonder non of the above works. Everyone turns everything down. Maybe because some of you actually use that program so you guys dont want an idea that might have a chance of working to mess you up from afk leveling. Pathetic IMO.

Multiclients have auto accept for Parties, Res, etc. Making one for a yes/no box wouldn't be hard, plus Joymax would never do that lulz.

Or game guard could be enabled.

But seriously, there are so many ways to improve this game, it just seems like Joymax doesn't want to.

Sorry your wasting your time thinking new ways to stop them because if Joymax wanted to, they could start by banning a few bots a day...

If bots can click npc's and buy pots, I think clicking yes on the screen would be extremely easy.
Sorry for being slightly rude, just trying to explain my point.

oh please! being realistic has become a crime or what?
the only solution to the bot problem is Joymax, but Joymax does not care!

what ever happened to the idea of the simple math problems popping up every hour or so?
if nothing else it would eventually make the bots be so complex that they would cost too much for all of the people who buy it...
and as an added bonus if the questions were, lets say, calculus then we could weed out some annoying 12 year olds and idiots at the same time 8)

It would require JM doing something. In other words not gonna happen. JM is going to make a name for themselves through this game and the money they have brought in. Only when they are being checked out by other companies will they attempt to control the bot problem. They've done it before and its been blatant.

There was 2 bug in the bot ..
Jm went and changed the game so the bot bugs fixed ..
Jm went and removed boting from the rules ..
Jm stopped banning boters ..
So you decide that on what side is JM, the legits or the non legits.

If you want to stop bots from working just use rotating rsa encryption on client>server communication.

first of all dont flame me if u dont like idea.
The only problem that bothers me is crowded server, take me hours to log in. I see a lot of people and boters staying whole day in town and not doing anything.
What if when u back in town and if u arent doing anything, for a lets say 10 or 20 min u get DC.

Good idea but to be realistic and not even with the thought of putting you down.

You are totally wasting your time, go find something better to do like going out and having fun with friends :)
