if ur going for PvP build, blade hands down, dnt think there is a way for glavie to beat blader unless have 3 hard crits in a row, KD is just too piss taking.

High crit blades are more dangerous than high crit glaives methinks. The attack speed of combos means you'll get a few crits then a lucky crit on either the KD or stab could well finish them. Then again, if soul spear crits and stuns then thats a problem too.

Crits on glavie is the most deadly thing EVER. Soul spear crit = one hit for nukers, even if they are 3 lvls above you

even with crits from a glaive, a blader will win.

Frost wall does not always work (as in when you do it sometimes there is no wall >.<) Also, you have to wait for it to do it, leaving you open for hits

lol frost wall, i pop that in 1 hit, and before a glavie can do enough crits to kill a blader, the glavie would get KD and gives time for blader to heal back to full health. Even if blader get stun they can still block so hands down blader FTW! and shield nukers are also deadly against glavie, i mostly get killed by shield nukers there damn annoying with block and KD.

being a glaiver or blader simply rests choosing between 2 options:

do you want to build an offensive char
(thus dealing the highest amount of damage)

or do you want to be a defensive char
(thus being able to absorb the highest amount of damage)

for the most being a pure glaiver is all about that cheolsam/hp stack and soulspear soul, the damage count will simply rip apart any build of the same level. however you won't be able to block hits and/or reduce the value of damage taken (unless you max cold for might guard of ice and fire for hard fire protection to compensate) so every phy/mag attack that gets thrown at you WILL hit you 100 percent.
in pve you're able to beat everything to death, but in pvp (1v1) you'll mostly have to rely on a high crt glaive and some stuns to finish the job properly, besides the extra 1k hp stack comes in handy

as a blader you are able to take a more defensive approach, you can take the hits or even block them and in the meanwhile do medium/high damage (when compared to a glaiver). using the hidden blade series (knockdown) and the killing heaven blade series are also considered a deadly combination for any pure glaiver out there, it's just sux to get knocked down repeatedly and getting stabbed all the time and you can't do anything but just watch your char getting beat. it might take a while longer but in the end you'll finish the job (if you can survive the crit hits and stuns ofcourse). you won't have the 1k extra hp stack that cheolsam provides, but having a shield and being able to block hits compensates more then enough (if not better).

sorry to tell all of you glavie user but i am a pure str blader and i have never lost to a glaver of my lvl... your attacks take way to long... i can hit yopu 13 times by the time you hit me 4 times (ive done this on multiple occasions) i have 2 five hit combos back to back the normal 2 hits at the beginning and my knockdown to finish you... never lost with that plan... if you dont believe me bring your a game and meet your doom

You're not yet in your high 50s, or 60s, you've yet to experience Soul Spear Soul. It. Is. Scary. Frost wall has no armor. Frost Wall will drop unbelievably fast.

EDIT: Yes, a Blade will win vs. Glavie 1v1, but 1v1 is not always the case. I'd rather have 3 Bladers KD'ing me and stabbing me than 3 Glaviers Soul Spearing me.

glavier hit more.. bladers live more.

bladers have a hard time killing glaviers
glaviers have a hard time killing bladers
glaviers can't kill a blader with armor and high block ratio shield..
bladers can't kill glavier with amor unless they got like 3 crits in row..
(at the same level duh).

SSS is 350% overall. It hits in two high damage hits, whereas comboes hit in low, quickly. Making a guide has nothing to do with experience, I could pop out a quick guide for every build, even though I have no experience with all of them.

u should also consider beresker mode, if ur a blader and you beresk the other player's potions just cant cope with the speed of ur hits, i once went thieving, and some trader with glavie (we were same lvl) attacked me, it was quite equal till i put on beresker, she put it on too, but she died after a few seconds....why? because her potions couldnt heal fast enough to cope with the damage i dealt....and having 11 crit DID help :oops:

all it needs to do is take the 1st Stun hit , glaivers usualy open up with the stun any way's ,or a frostnova wind ,Also cant be frosen with a wall ( cold or fire) up So it also cripples the "I frostnova you as opening move "tacktic Badly as you Dont slow down or get frosen ( yeh not every one has 100% frost reduse yet)
Just lvl 1 is already enuf to do all that,

Hmm... A blader can get Glavie passive (if you're willing) but a glavie has no use for bicheon skills. So blader has a potential to be > glavie with blocking and more HP. But a glavie is more fun IMHO.

I like what that one guy said previously, it's whether you want to be on offense (glavie) or defense (blader). PvP isn't always 1v1, so that changes everything. The shield will help block all those attacks while the glavier is left open. Though, if a glavie is surrounded, they can hit more people.
