dA Poetry?

[Dystopia]

Ive been walking across some poetry, just browsing in dA.

Reading some poems, they are deep, very deep and meaningful, i found them quite interesting, reading more and more, in my eyes they're much more, expressive, revealing than whatever you can draw or make or at least whatever I can.

Any of you read them?

I think i may write on myself, but, then id really have to get in the mood and have the time, which I dont have right now, ill might try soon. might.

It’s been quite a while, despite what you think
Yet still you hope, spread not your wings

Woe, all these places you could, can go
Yet sadly still here you wait

And live this life, it’s not too late

I extend my hand to you
Beckon you to rise
Above this morbid depression
Spread you wings, into the skies

But no, alas you still shall wait
So for you I will shed these wings
Relinquish my yearning, to be here with you
Forget this dream, lives of kings

If you wish not to spring free
To chase those worldly joys, all that we can be
Then stay with me as I remain here earth bound
Come live this life miserably with me
