Lost a lvl 80 semi-farmed hacked Sword/shield pure int char,1B gold.Sun plenty.Gone,as a chinese player grinding before party mobs and euro was pretty much what took most of your time.

Lost it all,then started over with a EURO Rogue/Cleric,i aint got the gold I wish I had.but I got my 2 or 3 active playing friends from real life,this makes everything worthwhile,on top of that as an Euro player u know that it doesnt matter how much Seal of Suns Chinese botters have when capped,they will get Owned anyway..sideways^^ so get some friends,keep your head up,do alot of PARTY grinds and really u will barely notice that botters even exist.(figure of speech lol)

Thats the way it always is. It takes a strong minded person to be able to quit any game they have invested a lot of time and money into and leave for good. If it really was a lvl 79 character and if he did hand grind it, im sure he would of spent about a year of grinding and a few hundred dollars on it. To leave something you put so much effort into is a hard thing to do. Most people dont realize that by leaving it you aren't losing anything, but rather gaining memories that will last a life time.

Its pretty much to say i like your general attitude about things. I was mainly trying to say a joke about boosting my ego but what the hell.

Thats how I play,I play at nights,when tired of working all day,just for fun,you know chillin,chatting with friends,staying at same level for a week,and NOT BUYING silk.

It depends what you mean by "game". If you simply see this as a game where u kill people, than thats your opinion. In this game i have made a lot of close friends, one in particular who is on this forum as well. He is probably my second closest friend i know. I have spent great times with him and the bonds we have formed will last a life time. A lot of things can come from this game.. if you haven't experienced this than this is your loss not mine.

Most people that play sro cannot miss a day or their life is over. That is an addict. I remember reading on tavern somebody dropped out of college to play sro. If you really are that addicted that it affects your education/job, then you need to stop playing.
I've played my little heart out of this game...but it never really was worth it.

This game would be so much better if everyone would just play the game for fun. Just play. Forget trying to race to cap, spending large amounts of real cash to try and be the best so you can stand in a PVP zone killing low levels and spamming globals, blah blah. Show everyone respect, if they deserve it. If they don't, ignore them.

People take this game so personally sometimes. I can kill a trader, and it's as if I just ran over their real life beloved kitten, twice. It's the job of a thief to kill a trader, and vice versa. There are plenty of times that I've laid dead under a hunter while in my thief suit watching him spam me in PM calling me a noob or whatever. I just shrug it off and congratulate him on a job well done. He did his job.
