China Bowman Questions and Help

So Bowmen have been my forte in every game I have played, whether it was Maplestory, Guild wars, Trickster (Gunners), FlyFF, or Fiesta... But in Silkroad they seem to be more difficult to play than any other character so far

I have a level 9 Pure STR Glavie man that outdamages my Level 15 Pure STR bowman...

So here are my questions...

1. What am i doing wrong?

~I have Pure STR build, and my Mastery has stayed up with my level, I have the double shot series as high as possible for my level, and the Demon bow series as high as possible for my level, aswell as the Ice force series skills

However, When I am killing Bandits that are level 14 I only deal 25-30 damage with a regular hit, and MAYBE 100 with a skill hit

Compared to any European character this is TREMENDOUSLY weak

My European level 8 Dagger rogue deals more than this sadly =(

So what have i done wrong? and what can i do to fix any problem?

Nothing wrong, some euro characters do more than chinese characters, but everything balances out. I'm not entirely sure about the glaive character versus the bow character, because later on the damage difference isn't noticeable. In fact, bow grinds faster than any other pure STR character due to it's range and quick skills/high critical.

Not only that but damage relies heavily on your weapon and it's stats, and the 'blues' included on your gear. If you want, check out the guides section for some build info and info on SP farming.

at these low lvls u cannot really tell what a build is really like, u should go to donwhang south gate and watch some builds, try find capped players that are fully farmed so u know it is fare and then u can see how the weapons work (unless they have sun gear)

bow double shot is not suppose to be strong just a fast shot to finish off a kill. cheak the damage on ur attacks and also the (%) after the damage plays a big factor in the power of the shots, bow has 2 of the strongest chinise str builds most strongest skills which are devil arrow and strongbow which u get at later lvls, also are u adding ur stat points in C(C button) window

Edit~ also ice imbue is the weakest imbue ingame , strongest is fire imbue, str characters dont really need ice and remember theres only a 300 mastery limit in this game so calculate ur final build correctly or it can cost u alot of gold/silk to unlearn skills
