Help me choose ¿? DoT ¿?

Hi everyone. I want to do a kind of magician or something like that. I already have a low lvl wizzard/cleric (common and useful) and i want to make a new player.

So... i was reading and i cant find out what i want... there are three choices.

Warlock/Warrior {full str or str hybrid}: i've heard about this one... warrior that use debuffs and stun. but i dont want it that way. The first question would be: are DoT (Damage over Time) skills affected by how much int the player has? (<--- I know the first strike damage would be SO low, but... maybe the DoT remains the same)
If DoT skill are not affected it would probably be useful in parties to tank and Dot party-mobs and giants.
Solo warrior/Party tanker warlock

Warlock/Cleric {Full int}: well, this is a more common build nowdays, the main problem with this is that want to be a warlock, not a cleric. Cleric do more one hit damage than warlock... so i would be a solo cleric and a party warlock... NO! a cleric is more useful in party than warlock... so i would be a solo cleric/party cleric. Anyway, this could me my only way for a warlock if strng affect DoT.

Chinese Full int cold/lightning/force +60/30weap: OK, i know... nobody likes no-weapon chinese. Chinese nukes are a bit weak compared to wizzard nukes but they (chinese) have "awesome" auto-buffs . This is why i like it:
Lightning= walk speed, more mag att, lion shout! and nuke
Cold=defensive buffs, freezing and FrzB, dont like the nuke
Force= cure others (and me *.* ) {maybe useless for chinese, but i like healing}, revive others, prevent attacks, debuffs.
I dont know what weapon to choose... bow or s/s? (dont like spear for full int)

Another con for chinese is that they dont do weapon mag damage (has to be nuke or imbue).

Thats all, please post pros, cons and opinions to help me choose.

Go warlock/cleric cleric actually doesnt do more damage in 1 hit then warlock unless u are gunna offering every mob lol. Also, warlock is very good in soloing because of the DoTs, debuffs, and leech skills, so all u really need to do is a DoT and blood flower for each mob. In parties it depends wat u want to do. warlock is very good in parties and cleric is very good in parties. As a warlock u would debuff and DoT mobs and as a cleric a will heal.

I suggest 80 bicheon, 80 ice, 80 lit, and 60 spear.

You might wanna add 5~10 levels of strength if you wanna go slightly/moderately hybrid.

Just use ice imbue with ur sword chains in pvp... you'll need to max snow shield to take on tough enemies tho... and pve shouldn't be a prob (use ice + chains too)

You should be pretty safe with the 1000 HP from spear mastery and 1200 HP from gears...

The ice + chain (with occasional nuke/shock) will be VERY annoying to the pure str ppl!
It basically *shuts* them up when it comes to damage output. Glaivers will have NO HOPE in making you go down in 10 seconds (unless SoSun +9 glaives..lol...)

Hi, thanks for the oppinion but i want to choose one of the builds i post. I dont like puttig points in heuksal (i know is good to have more HP), i just want a kind-of non-wapon chinese build.

Hi, i dont know... maybe i got wrong numbers... mmm... but i thought cleric "cross" did more dmg than warlock "rose"...
Could you post some calculations?

I used search and I couldn't find the thread that had the calculation but I do remember that it said warlock did more damage than cleric. As for ur DoT question a warrior/warlock is pure str so u don't use any DoTs because the damage is influenced by the amount of int u hav.

Well i think all is decided, im going to do a warlock/cleric. full int... bcz warrior /warlock didnt worked :S
