The 1st one is someone's artwork that you added text to.

The 2nd one is someone's artwork that you added text/filter to.

I wouldn't exactly say you made anything...

What's the deal with people bitching about who's artwork whatever someone makes really is. Yeah it's someone else's artwork that he/she took and added ideas to for enjoyment and possibly for use.

Everything anybody uses here is "someone else's" artwork to start, look around the forum, those graphics you see weren't necessarily made by the people who made/run this website but it was their idea and creativity to use them how they did.

Back on topic, nal I like the second one. That tile filter is really nice in some works and I like it in this one. The first one isn't bad but a bit plain. Keep it up.

Simply give credit where credit is due. These are more likely commercial works so that's not a big deal this time. But you should always give a artist credit for his/her work.

It's just a ethical thing man. :wink:

thats ridiculous. its obvious he didn't create the entire wallpaper, you add stuff, and create something different. a signature is someones image, and you add brushes someone else made, or filters someone else created to have a certain effect. Someone else made the font you use also. i mean if you get that technical of course nobody created anything, we are all just mixing different elements.

Anyhow the first is very simple, could maybe use a couple things here and there but its not that bad. You didn't do much but thats not the point, if you can work light brushing in or do something to the text, it would maybe improve. the second has more to it and again you could add more to improve but they are nice. If you can work in other elements to wallpapers you make in the future it would improve them like i said. Just remember wallpapers usually don't look good if they are too complicated and filled. My problem is all i used photoshop for was for signatures. and they usually require alot of brushing or whatever you use to make them, but if you do too much to a wallpaper it doesn't allways look as good. anyhow keep it up.
