My music is being held hostage by a crazed gunman

Not really, but it is being held hostage by my ipod...

I reformatted my computer, reinstalled xp, blah blah, and i stored all my music, pictures, and videos onto my ipod so i could transfer them later...well....now i cant get them OFF the ipod...

I downloaded itunes, and when i prompted it to transfer the music....it transfered the....legal..ones....so now I have one song on my playlist And about 500 on my ipod...

Please, does ANYONE know how to get it off my ipod, onto my computer? As long as i get it onto the computer i can get it into itunes...

i said to browse their forums for problems similar to yours, not call tech support

and besides you dont really need to mention the unofficial files and stuff, just tell them what your problem is
