are there any animation pros out there?

i see everyone making either really nice non-gif sigs or really plain/simple animated gif avatars/sigs. are there any pros out there, i'm bored right now and i want to learn hwo to make good animations. theres no real good tut around. i checked sticky, youtube, and other forums

Generally you'll want to make it a gif for forum uses, smaller file type = less loading for all of us. I know how to do basic sprites from cutouts, but in terms of actually creating my own animations with my own work, not at all. There's a decent sprite tutorial found in the sticky on the top of the thread. Cheers.
