[GUIDE]: HYBRIDS: An Alternative Build (updated 9/25/06)

Oho thats why my crits are only 50% or so more damage while strs crits are 2x. I love to try my own thing and not cookie cutter builds. My mains what a like to call a light hybrid meaning that i added abut 25-30 str (not exactly sure amount, most likely till it had 50 str) then went all int. This results in a mag balance still in the 80s without gear, but a significant bit of hp added. from 42 i started investing heavily in alc. Int on everythign is a must and I try to get str and hp added to what i can as well. At 56 i have 4k hp 8k mp 101% mag balance (with flag), and using sword and shield, I am a pretty hardcore int tanker (changed to armor at 52, was prot before). I use all bicheon(main), all light(main), force (res, harmony, lvl 1 stat remove :p, the major healing skill (one u can use on others), passive), just started getting fire (stat reduce and mag def buffs, getting nukes).

I love this build I can pvp strs my lvl easily unless they get tons o lucky crits or use sos seeing as i jus use standard blue gear alced an maybe with +s. Mobs can't kill unless u get extremely mobbed. e.g 56 and I went into the cave and was killing the power earth ghosts pretty simply. Got 2 once by accident and walked away XD.

Why use universal pills if you're immune to all types of status?

Fire Shield+Pill we turn someone immune i think...

and in my opinion int hybrid spear will still outdamage str hybrid...most damage come from imbue...so more int mean more damage...

one build i want to try is str hybrid blader..."since they say blader is hard to kill and hard to kill with"+"build with lowest damage"...maybe naked 80-85% phy hybrid can deal more damage compare to the pure one?

I'm making a hybrid blader with a 1:1 ratio. My imbue is fire and i use also use lightning and alittle force. Right now I'm at lvl 23, and I'm thinking about doing the same thing you did and decide to lean toward str/int at lvl 30 or maybe i might just keep doing the 1:1. I'm leaning more towards str hybrid but I'm not to sure yet...
I wanna make a build for pvp too and im not too worried about training and grinding so much.
Got any tips or just some general information that could help me with this?

im testing my self an 70 : 70 bow..90 fire 90 pach 60 ice 60 light..and i totally LOVE it...i can pwn in pvp and im all npc..im having some problems with s/s nukers ... but .. im npc gear...im going to do this char lv 90 .. i love it
