Poor Addicted G0d and the dangers of gamer addictions

I have posted this thread on the Official Forum, it has been requested by a few folks that I post it here too........ enjoy......

Let me tell you all about the trap of GAMERS ADDICTION.

On the Mars server we have a funny little skinny nerd called “G0d” ( he also uses the char _GoD_ )

Many of you may remember him as the weak little scammer from my earlier thread “WHO SMASHED THE SUNSPEAR”

G0d has a serious gamer addiction.

He stakes his life on being the biggest, baddest player on Mars at all costs it seems.

He stakes his life on Holding the Fort at all costs it seems.

Aaaaaanyway at the last Fortress War, the Orion guild (and Union) pounded G0d’s ass. His guild (Destructive) and his union got absolutely hammered and lost control of their precious Fort. (I’m sure he calls it ‘MY PRECIOUS’)

G0d flipped out afterwards and ranted and raved at the front gates. Frothing at the mouth he threw a massive tantrum and began PKing people until EdgarCasey came along and slammed him.

G0d’s union collapsed under the weight of his enormous ego after the loss Once everyone found out how much of a scammer he is they left. After the dust settles he then wiggles his way into a new union controlled by some pretty cool people.

During G0d’s reign holding the Fort he told his guild and union that the taxes held in the fort could not be taken and could only be used to pay for fort upgrades and such. When he lost the fort he was obviously convinced he was gonna keep it cos he left over 700mil in taxes in the fort. The Orion guild then easily accessed the taxes and distributed them amongst the union guilds evenly. So they were easily accessable. It turns out that G0d has taken every last cent he could fit in his char and gave his guild and union not one single cent. G0d has well over 1billion gold form the fort taxes in his storage.

God then begins globaling how he’s gonna commit suicide and how death is close to him now. (Sad)

So a few days ago the Gm’ship of Orion changed temporarily. G0d then promised the new GM “RigeL” 100mil if he would boot every single guild member from Orion Guild and put in place G0d’s stall char “Godstaller” as the GM. RigeL did all of this, then G0d refuse to pay him. He didn’t have to. What G0d could not retain with his own strength the chose to scam and steal afterwards. Quite happy to hold what he doesn’t earn.

But fear not the Guild mates that were Orion have reformed under a new name and are bigger and badder than ever.

So now once again he is the GM of the guild who holds the fort. Even though it is a different guild and he has scammed his way, once again into it.

He then is so pleased with his scamming, that he globals admitting how he did it and how proud of himself he is. He also has the bare faced denial to mention how he has honor in the same globals.

Now G0d own an empty guild that holds the fort. So (according to my spies in Destructive guild) he then announces to his guild how he’s going fill the empty Orion guild with people from their union guilds. He is trying to bribe and steal all the high level players from the guilds in his new union (The wonderful people of the Catastrophy union) and break those guilds down and reform his own union with guilds all controlled by him. So if you are in a guild within his union, look out he means to bust your families apart playing on your greed.

G0d used to be a fairly cool young man, a ncie guy, helpful and up for some fun. Now he a lying, cheating, scamming self obsessed egomaniac, who according to his brother has an extremely small penis.

At what point do you throw your own humanity out of the window and treat everyone around you poorly just to gain things that do not even actually exists. It started with the SunSpear he tried to scam from people. I smashed it to stop him. He tried to hold the Fortress forever at the cost of his guild and union, the very people who put him there. We stopped him. Now not learning his lessons he gets worse and worse every day.

I used to be this guy’s friend, we have all tried to tell him to stop and look at how addicted he is, but nooooo he just jumps further in to the abyss.

I post this to point out to those who play SRO a bit. THIS IS THE BEST EXAMPLE OF EXTREME GAMER ADDICTION. If you behave in mean anti social, insane ways like this, just to be good at a game, that will never amount to anything other than entertainment, then stop playing, go outside and perhaps get a real life and maybe even a girl/boyfriend.

i remember DarkEmpire being one of the 1st guilds that joined his union.
He use to be cool, i knew he botted but he was cool.
Then im absent for 2 weeks, come back and G0d is crazy.

Waw...strange how ppl get addicted to this game
even me... havent logged in 2 weeks ... i load the game saturday morning play for a hour and boom ..cant get the game outta my head
I think the problem is not really in the player ..its in the game
i have played other mmorpgs ..fun stuff
for example at Lineage2 ...when u play for 4h as far as i remember you see a notice on your screen "you have played for number* of hours" which reminds you "hey i have to meet my peeps at 18:00 and its already 17:30" so u log off or atleast shake-off the gameplay

as u can see the problem is in the game ..other sro versions have playtimer ...not like our version...that only prooves how much our support company cares about its users ,but its another story.

He needs help ...i think i have played silkroad big time ,i have met alot of players, made many friends that i actually care about as strage as it saunds.Had alot of fun with them in-game but there comes a time when u stand up and say" thats enough" and u continue with ur life.Chi do ur best and help that guy cuz hes mentaly sick,not only you ...everybody knows some highly-addicted player im sure of that..people please try to bring thouse guys back to reality cuz they actually waste important time of their lifes in this virtual world ...Please dont forget its a simple game

Let him kill himself, one less school shooting. Plus hes doing it for attention and shit. Farking retards. Also you do realise that a lot of people dont want a relationship and still have a life? to be honest with you guys, i'm not on mars or anything and don't even kno the guy. But i think the person who wrote this has exagherated the story, i can believe all the things have a chance of happening, but the picture the guy who posted this thread is painting for us is like at a kids level of creativity. This probably happened over a long, long, long period of time which means if you think about it, he probably did do all this but in very very small steps and things just built up over time, but the thread guy made it sound like he did all dat in like a period of 2 days cz he suddenly lost himself which i really doubt.
