STR BOW one question

i'm a 47 Bow whit fire imbue.
My weapon is a sos 42+5 (+ 86 phy danage) = 48+5 BOW or even better .

Now my friend is level 48 ... and has a bow 48+5 just whit 2 phy damage mor then me , has atack rating of 148 ..i have 154 ( from weapon)!

I use , as he does fire for main imbue . He has now LvL 1 of 3d BOOK fire , i have lvl 7 of 2d book fire .

The only buff that i have lower then his ..is parry and magic defence.

He hits in average whit 400 more damage then me ? That's insaine ..is that to do fire imbue ?

he has 5 str more then me on gear ...and 7 int more .
But the difrence is way bigger .. plz...is that fire imbue that counts so much ?! or is the str and int that he has . My weapon mastery is 46 , his 46 also ..

did you test the damage on each or on another enemy?
if you tested against each then his parry makes you hit him for less and same goes for the magical defense.
he has more int and str on his gear and is 1 more level (adds up 4 more str and 1 int)
maybe also compare the reinforce of the weapons that also plays a crucial role in damage.

400 damage in average on the mobs ...on me ..hi hits like 800 more !he has sos set gear me only +2/+3 .

True ..he has a lot of int and str more then me ...but still to much damage! didn't look at Physical reinforce and didn't know that help a lot the damage !

thx... could i modify the phy reinforce of weapon ? tell me if so, so i can look on forums what tabs i need .

You ahven't told about the build you and your friend have,
are you bot full str or 70;70 That also makes a big difference

Bounzzer is right. The build makes a huge diffrence in damage =D
