SP farming @ Level 57

Post by [SD]Isidro »

Here's my situation.

I'm Level 57 currently running with 7GAP.

Bicheon/Fire: lvl48
Lightning: lvl50

I've come to realize that i need more sp so i decided to get more curst hearts so i can dlvl lightning to 48 making me have a 9 gap.

My situation is that I have now 15k from curstheart removing, so now im ready to farm; the question is, what lvl mobs do i farm?

I heard i should farm at Penons/Sonars but better yet, whats the rule of thumb? farm at white mobs with fast spawn?

Also, I got premium but i havent activated it yet. Should i activate it while im farming ? Don't you get more sp?

In a nutshell, can someone fully explain to me, at my lvl right now, exactly the most effecient way to get sp the quickest so i can be farmed.

gear is not a problem. I have SOS+3 on my deg 7 set with FULL blues. I'm set.

As for powerfarming, is it quicker to get plvled at caves/karras while having 9 gap to get sp? Or is it more effecient to handgrind? If handgrind, what level? I spent gold on pimping my set so wouldnt i waste it if i get powerfarmed?

Whats the best thing for me to sp farm ? Too late for waiting till higherlevel because i just rellocated my skills so ihave 9 gap right now. Thanks to anyone who has the time to help me out :D

premium should be activated when farming, because of 1try and because of that purification seed quest +D

To get 'more' SP you'd need to activate a SP ticket, since it increases only the SXP gain.

gold ST = 100% more SXP
silver ST = 50% more SXP
Gold ST + Gold Ticket = 150% more SXP
Gold ST + Silver Ticket = 175% more SXP
Fairly sure those are correct..

To lazy to do the calculations for a silver skill ticket, just don't be fooled when farming thinking you'll get double the sxp twice(200 sxp, then 400, then 800) with two tickets. It's 100% of the base gain (200 sxp, then 400, then 600)

But my problem is:

I invested alot of gold into my Degree 7 Protector Set: Most of them are SOS+3 and all of them have STR5INC + many blues and +'s

So, with that said, im ready in terms of gear, but isnt powerfarming faster? (powerleveling at amob 11 lvls higher than u but for more sp instead of exp)

I mean, i have work and college right now so its hard for me to go online for more than 2 hours a day grinding..

Powerfarming would give me the opportunity to just leave my comp afk and get the sp i need, but it cost money and everything.

What do you think i should go for?

P.S And to the reply above, i bought premium before i decided to farm so thats already out of the question. If i activate the prem now, is there a big diff? I cant buy those sp tickets atm..

Try Penon Warriors, or if you got garms Sonars or Planars...if you feel up to it you can do yeti but you'll kill slower

If you can't go online that much then don't use your premium. Save it for later. I would farm right now at sonars. What kind of weapon are you using right now?

Since it's 100% increase to both EXP and SXP there will be no difference in the EXP/SXP ratio, but the farming will go by 'twice as fast'.

If you have the gold to be powerfarmed, go for it. Personally I wouldn't trust the powerleveler to be grinding legitimately or efficiently. Even if it was a legitimate powerlevel you can't be sure they'll make use of your GT (if you use it). The best, safest way to farm is by yourself.

By the way, the only thing that will make you gain more SXP instead of EXP is to have a higher gap or include a skill ticket in grinding. Other than that grinding on higher mobs doesn't mean more SXP, because the ratio of EXP/SXP stays the same. (Gain 1 exp and 1 sxp on level 5 mob, on level 6 it would be 2 exp and 2 sxp, same result in the end)

I dont have a nice weapon, mine is a blade thats +3 w/ nice blues and CRIT 9, but nothing special.

my shield is +5 BR 17 though.

Anyways, let me get this straight:

1. Get 9 gap or no gap?

2. If i farm by myself, i fight penons+sonars+yetis right?

3. If i get farmed by plvler, do so at mobs 11 lvls higher than me? (like caves? ) for the most SP is that right?

-----
i look at this 2 ways:

If i handgrind, i would be at an advantage because of my nice pimped gear, and friends to talk to. It costs me WAY less than plvl because all i need to buy is pots XD and i get to pick up gold/items by killng

If i powerfarm, i get to relax, do other things while im getting SP (i have college and work)! No money spent on pots/repair.

Now the thing is, if i choose to get powerfarmed, wouldn't my nice gear be useless? Like should i just sell my nice protector and get npc instead? Because at this point i have about 30million left in gold.

I could spend alot of that towards plvling (prolly about 500k an hour) and would have barely left to spare for when i lvl up after farming. And i got a new term in college so im working hard in real life and everything, so i dont have the time..

If i grind i waste time, and time IS money.

What do you advise me to do? Should i just resell my nice gear for good cash and get npc and use that cash to powerfarm? Or should i just grind at penons/yetis handgrinding?

Heres what i factor in:

1. Time it takes for me to get the SP desired.

2. The effort it takes to get the SP desired.

3. The amount of gold it takes to get SP desired.

i would suggest level to 60 and stick with 9 gap with masteries at 51 because you get the new chains at lvl 51 since you're a blader..with sorry gears, go play with penons.. with pimp stuff, go play with pegs

farm sp right now at penon warriors, prob 9 gap, till you can get your skills to lvl 55. Once you have enough sp, slowly get your way to lvl 64. Once at lvl 64, 9 gap in caves. That way you can still use your 7th degreee set as its pimped with str and intl like you said, yet be able to get a new seal weapon if you have the money and take full effect of it.

Well, you know you can hand grind and get powerfarmed at the same time right? Why settle for just one. When you have time to grind yourself, head to Penon Warriors(the aggro ones), or even Yetis if it isn't too slow. If you don't have time, just get someone to powerfarm you. That way you get to relax, and put your nice set to use when you can. Just because you have two options does not mean you must stick to one. Also, it would be a good idea to start your premium when you sp farm. The seed quest speeds up the farm, and with limited time to play, you spend less trying to sign in. With it you get 100% exp and sp, so you are getting more sp, but still the same ratio of exp:sp. SP tickets messes around with the ratio.

Id say go a little higher and grind Penon Fighters when they are green for you..
Green = high drop rate and Penon Fighters drop all the pretty purple shining stuff

Secret to farming at any level:

Grind str mobs that are green/white (4-5 levels lower than you)
-you'll save money not buying pills
-you'll save money buying fewer hp pots
-you still get good drops

Also if you can farm at the first lvl of a weapon deg it's even better

The premium will get you more SP, but also XP at the same time, so it's kind of a wash for farming.

thanks to all who has contributed help.

What i think of doing now, is to lvl up quickly my char to lvl 60, THEN add my skills to lvl51 to get the new blade skills.

I'll farm at yetis/warriors. What you think?

i would get 9 gap then powerfarm on mobs 11 higher for the 3 hours the ticket is activated

since you said you only play few hours a day this would be best way to get sp from ticket

if you have gold for this anyways... but you could probably make enough if you stall some elements while you sleep
