then its time for me to step up. if you want a reliable place to host your pictures for FREE pm me. i will use my webserver to host signatures an avatars for FREE i will supply ftp info to upload the pictures as well as a private lesson on how to use said ftp. agian its 100% FREE pm me if you would like this.

well see, most of these sites are free as well.

for instance.

for images, i use Photobucket.
other options: Imageshack, Tinypic, Xs.to and probably even more.

for .psd or any other file, i use Sendspace. (up to 300MB).
on this site, you can upload anything for free, up to 300MB.
there are probably alternatives, but this is the first one that came to mind.

of course, an ftp to upload stuff on would be nice, but idk if you would expect
all members here to be known with ftp clients like FileZilla. Or were you going
to put some interface on it to make it easy for us to upload files?

i could do either, but i was shooting for making a tut for firezilla, thts wht i use. and allow people to access the FTP server.

imo, kindof risky giving people access to your ftp through the client?

wouldnt it be better you give em some username + password then, and they
just go to the ftp's IP in their browser, login and upload/download stuff?

i have a firezilla server up and running so i can assign id and passes. so yea, im goo on tht. just need like 5+ people to say they want to use them.

Fire Zilla? Don't you mean Filezilla, thats just a FTP client. It isn't even a server. Do you even know what you are talking about? :o

for file uploading, i personally dl 500+ kb/s from there, while at sendspace i get about 80 kb/s. Not sure if its just me but i personally prefer mediafire
