STR blader

Hi, today i was wondering if i should get ice mastery at all cause. The only skills that i would probably use from that mastery is shield, and thats probably it. And since its a pure str blader, its phys. def is probably high. So here is a couple of questions. Is it worth it? Should i just get fire and lighting? Anyway thanks. By the way its a pure str blader.

Cant you only get them to 80?
