Well i just saw cloverfield, and can say the monster was not what i expected. The
movie on the whole was good but lets face it....they farked it up big time.

All the viral rubbish, trailers, myspace and facebook groups have runied this movie
because if you go to this expecting to see the monster or a movie with a proper
ending your going to be disappointed.

The viral marketing did not indicate a 'proper' ending, ie one that you wanted. Also, I must disagree on the monster sightings. Sure they didn't whore the monster, visual effects, but you got to see plenty of it.

i just saw cloverfield today enjoy it
was quite different from other monster movies i've seen maby thats why i enjoyed it
i liked the hand held camera view type thing really gave it a good effect but at the start a bit to shakey lol

If there's one it'll probably be done without J.J. He likes putting out new, original material.
While filming they were going over that possibility that there would be someone else filming a different experience. Of course it could just be a simplistic, "What happens to the rest of the world with the beast still alive?", story.

if you go by what you see in the movie it falls from the sky and lives int he sea for about a month before it comes and attacks the city

if you go by speculations and rumours it could have come from just about anywhere

Makers of film said they wanted to make their own version of Godzilla and King Kong!In my opinion i think Cloverfield monster looks cool.

it does NOT FALL FROM THE SKY

if you actually watch that last scene its splashing in the water not falling...if
something that big feel then you would of seen it, also it may just be some kind
of random thing.

ALSO
people forget the viral vidoes that they made of it attacking the oil rig in the Atlantic
a few months before the film takes place. And then a fishing ship just one month
before near New York.

yes its the star of the moive
yes....watch the film and you see what it looks like, just hard as hell to describe.

this is from when they run into the subway as the US army is attacking the monster
and the monster comes through the gun fire/smoke and tries to eat them....thats its
mouth.


Another one, but this time of the small "parasites" that drop off from the bigger
monster.


Another one, but this time from the air (helicopter) you can see
the monster just as its hit by a US air strike, see buildings around for comparison
