As you may well know I am obsessed about Guitar Hero. Since I have 2 guitars, I decided to do a painting experiment. I will keep this updated with my progress. Here is the back-almost done, just need to paint the sides. The logo is slapped on there not painted.

Thanks Evan. I plan to paint the buttons Green, White, Yellow, White, Green. It's my old, crappy controller so I figured I might as well mess around with it. The black faceplate will be yellow or something.

It was rather more of an advice than a flame. Playing a real guitar is much more rewarding and far more useful for yourself in the future. You will say what I said you would say in a couple of years, when gh3 dies out. And clean the language no one likes a dirty mouth.

Took my guitar apart last night, getting it prepped for paint, piece of advise: Dont take apart the wammy assembly because its a pain in the ass to put back together.

I wish I applied for mod so I could ban your ass. Before starting to flame etc you need to get to know the community. It's not popular to see a guy who joined some days ago acting like he owns the place.

I've played the guitar for 5 years and I think guitar hero is extremely fun. I don't understand why people like to fight about it. You don't tell a kid with one of those little fake drums that he's a moron for not playing a real drum set and you dont fight about people playing DDR versus people who dance without a pad and a game console.

Guitar Hero is basically DDR with a guitar. I'm actually sincerely giving GH players advice to put down the plastic guitar and take up a real one. I play the guitar too, and nothing beats being able to play your own melodies and songs opposed to mashing a few buttons to create them. Being able to play an instrument is a privilege. You could boast about your insane guitar hero 3 skills now, and see them become insignificant as the years trail away. I highly doubt any of you will be playing this when you're 30 years old. But will/can you be playing a real guitar when you're 30?

@Waisha: so sue me. The Captain owns this place-fortunately I have enough brains to know that. And second, you've been following me around like a cat on a mouse making little smart-ass comments. You should consider stopping it-its quite juvenile.

On topic, Before you paint BE SURE to prep every single surface that you will be painting. If you want help with how to do that lemme know. Im thinking of doing mine as follows:
Neck: High Gloss Black
Frett Buttons: All the same color, chemelion green/purple
Body:chemelion green/purple
Start/select buttons: High Gloss Black
Whammy Reciever(the white part):High gloss Black

It should look pretty sick when im done, i cant decide if i want to tape off a design on the back or not.

@Pilot most of the kids on here play video games hours a day..They don't have anything better to do. They will prefer to watch pixels instead of taking the time to learn something worthwhile. Attacking them about it will get you nowhere.
