it is totally luck.... i could only get stuff +4 never +5 and the other day i accidentally made my +5 spear +7 no astrals no immortals no lucky..just steady and it succeded twice to +7

Can anyone honestly admit they know what does a lucky powder actually does? If it simply increases luck why is it in the game? It it a small cost compared to the cost of a weapon so thats hardly an issue.

They are not rare so its not like a special thing people can get. So why even bother with them if everyone just uses them all the time? Why not just increase the luck rate by the fixed amount lucky powders apparently "do".

Im not saying apples is right, but maybe lucky powders play a certain affect of increasing or even decreasing luck. Who knows, but it could be a plausible affect. Maybe somewhere in the guide which i haven't read it gives a more accurate description that will disprove what i am saying.

i will say one thing, the only +7 I ever made on hercules, I ..... up and didnt use any lucky powder from 3->4 , than it went to +7 after with powder+stones. prior to this though it got to +6 once and failed a bunch of other times all over aaaaaaaaaahhh

I know alchemy is all about luck.. but I do BELIEVE lucky powders do work, cause I once tried to +1 a weapon WITHOUT lucky powder for several times, and it doesnt work so well but ofcourse it can succeed, but when I use lucky powders I get it to +1 +2 eazy

A friend told me that if you do your item +3 and you log off and log in then try to do +4 and you get a 100% chance of sucsses.... Didn't tryed it yet, and don't know if I have to trust him this time

Not true, thats probly cuz he did that once and it worked...hence the 100% success rate

I was always told to party up with a nice player, drop my weapon 2 times and it would come back +7 or +9... I am going to try it today with my 64 sun bow... YAY... +7 here I come...

I +5 my whole 8d 72-77 garment no astrals spent almost 50m doing that and +4 all accessory I wont try to +5 those it took forever to get them to +4

Well, I've tried that before and it usually werks...

+1 with lucky powder
+2 without
+3 with

I made my lvl56 xBow +5 this way... +4 and +5 with lucky powder tho...
