Very complicated thing that needs help.

Post by jazzmagic »

Hi,I just created a new character,it's a wizard with a robe armor and a staff.

The problem is,I'm a wizard,so must I take up the wizard mastery as my sub mastery or can I choose any mastery, for example, cleric,as my sub mastery?

Thank You for taking your time to read my question, any help is greatly appreciated.

:)

silkroad is an awesome game when it comes to classes as you can have a lot of different combinations
if you choose wizard, you can sub any of the other 5 classes available
some are better than others but here are some pros and cons of certain builds

1.pure int-wizard/bard-low hp but you have noise which keeps monsters from attacking you(unless they are champ, giant, elite, unique), and you also get moving march+other skills
2.pure int or hybrid-wizard/cleric-bless spell, immune too most status effects at higher lvls but once again you dont have too much hp
3.pure int-wizard/warlock-not very common but if you get used to switching, use debuffs and then to tons of dmg as wizard, chance of blocking an attack with the shield but not much hp

^ Good suggestions for different wiz builds :).

Just to clear some things up, for euro charachters, they have mastery points equal to double their character level. Say you are level 20, you have 40 mastery points to distribute. This means that if you're a wizard, you could learn 20 levels in Wizard masteries (this will be your main) and 20 more levels in another class(es) (these will be your submasteries) should you wish to do so. Sp requirements, and mastery point restrictions are two different things.

If you say submastery, you're really referring to wizard as your main, and bard or warlock or cleric as your submastery (as aleksandar92 pointed out above).
