Nah Chinese have better weapon and gear at higher lvl that make up for it. And European are based off partying, they can't win against chinese on 1v1.

And the second question.

like
a lot of damage?
or being able to tank
or support

If the chinese continued having almost 4 masteries at higher levels they would eventually have much more defense than euros and only a cleric would be able to stand up to them without using bless spell or support from other euros. Even warriors would be in trouble if the chinese continued having both fire and ice for overall defense and lightning on top of that for magic dmg and speed.
However, if the mastery points on the chinese were the same as the euros from the start, the euros would be much better at any level, instead of having to deal with skills from 4 masteries and having a disadvantage in defense because of it.

If you really consider the two races it's pretty simple to figure out why people like the chinese, it's because their pot delay makes them survive longer. Nevertheless a euro that has a cleric doing healing cycle behind him/her would overpower a chinese greatly, given the same equips.

As to the char selection:

To be a tanker, and have average dmg go warrior, eventually you can switch between s/s and 2h to improve either defense or dmg.

Go rogue to be an overall character, they are probably the least useful in parties but they have large hp and pretty high dmg, so they are easy to play for your first char.

If you just want to pound on the enemy as hard as you can, go wizard. Without a subclass these are hard to play, but once you get the hang of it it is easy to avoid dying and level faster than anyone else.

For support, go either cleric or bard, both of these have limited attack power, but the cleric would make you tank easily while still doing relatively good damage, excluding the suicide bomber skill. The bard has a little better damage, and they have pretty nice defense because of their tambours, but without healing they are more like a weak wizard with limited choice of attack, and some mediocre buffs.

Warlocks are like the hybrid nukers, they are a little low on damage, but they have great debuffs and life leech skills, so they are a really good starting character since they don't die often for an int based char.

1 on 1? Maybe if the chinese only have 2 skill trees. Clerics buffs and Warlock's debuff is the main reason the european can win by partying.

Mutiny wrote:Why do you talk like 1 on 1 fighting is the only part of a mmorpg... what freaking world do you live in? Euro are like special elites, one class for damage, one class for life, one class for taking damage, one class for support .So euros are meant to be very good when combined. There better then any chinese version. Chinese are good overall but as you can see other people play this game. 2h warriors can 1v1 pvp and wizards can also. Only the buff classes for europe can't pvp at all

Back to topic, I would say rogue crossbow; high chance of survival, alot of hp, don't take many hits, deal very good damage.

What's up with you? Did I say something bad about partying? Did I say that 1 on 1 is the only part of MMORPG? No, I just complained that the Chinese is good against European with 1 vs 1.

depends on the char, and who hits first
For example, if a wizard uses invisibility and goes up to a nuker his/her lvl, that person can probably one hit them

not if the the nuker is smart and uses firewall
and rouge can beat chinese solo, but bladers in a group can tank euros in parties.
and for the topic maker: ppl go chinese casuse they dont want to keep fighting in groups, and the pot delays cancels out the fact that euros make crazy dmg.
go for rouge if u wanna go euro cause they gud at solo and great dmg dealers in parties. u will be good at pvp and pve(xbow for pve and dagger for pvp.)

Well I would say it dependent on the lvl cap. I say this statement base on the assumption that the skill pt limit of the Chinese character will not increase (remain at 300) and the max lvl cap of the character is 150.

At lvl cap 100 or below, Chinese character will have an advantage over Euro. character because Chinese character can fully utilize three skill trees with a little spare skill points for the fourth. For Euro. character, they can only max two trees. Thus, a Chinese character can have proper attack rating, speed, mag and phys defence at the same time.
As a result, Chinese character will be more powerful in a 1 vs 1 situation.

At lvl cap 120 or above, Euro. Character will be on par of the Chinese. At that level, Chinese character can only fully utilize two skill trees and has a minor third three. Therefore, they have to sacrifice one of their ability to have a boost on the others. i.e. Trading speed for attack rating, phys or mags defence. Think about the max lvl scenario:
A)A full strength glav (150 glav, 75 fire and 75 ice) vs A full strength warrior/cleric or warrior/rogue. The mag and phy def. of the euro character is stronger. In term of speed and attack rating, both of the characters are the same (may be euro character is a bit better since it has sprit).
B)A full int S/S (20 sw, 60 ice, 140 lig and 80 fire) vs A full int wizard/bard or wizard/cleric. This is going to be a boring match but chinese may have an advantage. It all depends who draw the first blood and whether that attack can KO the opponent. If the Euro char can 1 hit KO Chinese character by stealth attack, then Euro wins (Since the damage due by wizard with life control on is so high, it is possible to kill a full int chinese character with snow absorption and fire shield on). However, if the Chinese character can sustain the first hit with the help of ice absorption and retaliates with KD and KB, then Chinese character wins.

Generalizing is not the answer, but I dare to say that these builds own ANY chinese builds assuming same gear, same level, same farmed, same weapon (+) and carefully played 1vs1.

Warrior 2h'd with cleric subs,
Rogue with clerics sub,
Wizard with cleric sub,

Hell almost any euro with cleric sub can own chinese if they play smart and use bless ^^ supreme damage and defence by having cleric sub is what makes Euro superior.

When it is euro vs euro THEN it becomes rather difficult to see which one is superior.Euro vs euro is much more about strategy,Chinese just spampots, use skill->repeat..boring!

You cannot know who wins. There is only 1 thing for sure if there is any 2v2,3v3 or more eu wins.
(imo eu is harder and exciting to play)

Chinese depend on gear, build & such,Euro's even in simple gear like +3 or +4 when choosing a favorable subclass can Outmatch ANY chinese, even kill Full Seal of sunned Chinese classes with a mere +5 Weapon.Offcourse, not all euros, but the good builded ones like I already mentioned.

When It was chinese vs chinese I always stood on the same fence, there is no better build, its all gear & how farmed u are with how many seal of suns etc etc,With Euro vs chinese its a whole different ballgame.

.....dudes, way to brind a topic back from ..2 months ago...

Maybe 2 months ago this mattered, but with so many level 80 euros, there is no longer any need for such discussion.

Edit:

Lol, who in their right mind would use 150 glaive 75 fire, 75 ice... or even the SS build... Weaken your imbue or nuke, as well as have only mediocre buffs... Even at max level 150 glaive without 150 imbue will do less damage than a blader with max imbue. A wizard would probably tank someone that doesn't have max imbue...or at least 130/150...
But level cap is 140 and confirmed, so most str will go 140 weapon 140 fire for glaive, light or fire for bow and fire or ice for blade. with nukers going weapon ice, or ice/fire 140.

So you are looking at either slow chinese, that will have deal with speed like the euros with pots and bard buffs. Weak damage chinese, that will most likely get slaughtered because if they can't kill they will definitely die from the euros, or weak defense chinese...will stand a chance only because they can kill a euro before they die. The only real builds will be pure str with fire imbue, some int hybrid with fire and weapon or ice and weapon, and pure int with dual ice light or ice fire forces. But without having phantom, the glaviers will get toyed with by wizards with their ...35m (assumed) teleport, or bowers with their 50m phantom. And nukers just won't touch wizards or rogues because of the higher range....

And the lack of having everything will finally give way to some strategy, with those long range skills being used more often in PvP.

Here is my GUESS.

At the very end, 90+ cap, Chinese characters will be stronger. The problem tho, is that a Chinese need to farm at least 200k sp, while a European only need to farm around 30k sp. In other words, it takes a Chinese character a lot of time and effort to get powerful, but they have the potential to get extremely powerful individually. Europeans gets powerful much more easily, but they will not be extremely powerful individually. European 's potential is in party PvE and PvP.

Basically, if you have lots of time to farm, go Chinese. If you do not have much time to farm, go European.
