Changing Password

A few weeks before a friend of me got hacked and he couldn't change his PW because forgot security answer. I adviced him to use the way was come out after EU expansion. It says the following:

1. Login with your account on http://www.silkroadonline.net
2. Activate your account by pressing agree
3. Log in with your silkroad account on http://www.joymax.com/portal/
4. Click on E-Mail Verification and write in the textboxes your Nickname and E-Mail
5. You have verificated your account.Now login on http://www.Joymax.com/Portal
6. Click on Manage Account on the right corner.
7. Choose Account Password Modification
8. Change your password without security question.

But, he activated his SRO account (step 2) formerly and this method doesn't work without step 2. Is there any other way to skip / replace 2nd step?

Thanks, but it's not an answer for my question.

There was a way to change PW without put security answer in the correct place. (I wrote the steps in my 1st post), but it seems to be available only one time. The e-mail verification service doesn't work without SA, it needs both SA and code. I tried it on my own account, I couldn't change without SA, next time I answered SA and I could change.

My question: is there any way to change PW without SA via E-mail verification system?
