Nuker pvp Tactics
Nuker pvp Tactics
Im now lvl3x on Greece with a pure int fire/light spear/sword nuker. Im goin to farm alot of sp. I have the spear passive lvl30, sword chains and kd, lvl30 with the shield passive. Are the fire imbue 5combo chains effective in pvp? What sort of tactics could be used with this. Is nuking from range then 5combo with imbue more effective than fire/light/shout? Fire imbue is very powerful for pure int so having 5hits with it in the same time as a nuke will charge might be better? Any other comments on tactics will be apprieciated.

I want to first start out by saying I'm not "great" at PVP but based on what I've experienced here's my suggestion. Forget any sword of weapon skill as a nuker. You're only carrying the weapon in the first place so your damage will be high. Your toolbar should consist of the fire nuke, the lightning nuke, lionshout (as many as you have) and ghost walk. With low HP you need to hit and run. Since you'r carrying a shield that will help but up close 1 v 1 pvp is something you want to avoid. Fire nuke, lionshout, ghostwalk, lightning nuke. Something like that. Maybe keep a weapon skill just for a finisher. For instance, I keep ghost petal on my toolbar incase the enemy does get close. It's been my experience though that they usually die after a series of nukes if they're my level or close to it.
As a nuker we come close to being 1 hit kills because of this, we need to deal as much damage as possible and get the heck out of dodge. Your main arsenal as a nuker though should be Nukes. Makes sense right?

Chains dont do good damage at PvP and close combat
is not a good thing for u.
U could max knockdown/stabb if u have the SP. And them
use nuke + knockdown in close PvP combat.
i find that KD works, but its too variable
for the skill, you have to keep it consistent with your level in order to have it KD at 50%.. otherwise it drops.
i've seen higher level full ints with loads of sword skills, but this is after they sacrifice the spear tree (1000 extra hp).
you have spear at 30, i would continue to add to 60, or if you want to do sword skills, add STR to your build til you're at 90% OR add a crapload of str statted gear, so you have more hp.. otherwwise i find it too risky to fight melee
if ur a nuker and want to pvp
use a sword/shield. doesnt matter if u went heuksal for ur weapon. when ur pvping. all u should be doing is NUKENUKENUKE/imbue/lionshout/NUKENUKENUKE
althought i have seen many nukers using their spears. its up to u whether or not u want the added defense and the BR or have more damage/crit/weapon skills (just in case)
