Just because I have my own doubts. I would like a little proof that you are indeed MorningDew. So I have two small questions for you! First, Where were you on October 20th? Second, What color shirt were you wearing that day? Thanks ~ WitchHazel (aka Diet_Coke)

hard part for most of us players is that there are simply no better games(i have yet to find a good game, tried many but none was enjoyable enough to stay), maybe some of us even like the fact that joymax is lazy but not understanding that weare destroying the game.

Nice to see you on the forums, it's been a long time since ive posted on the official forums. It just got way crazy for me. Hope you can hold down the fort. N hey, i still remember that Sticky for the SP farming guide
Hi J,
Inspiring great tutorials shall become a permanent stick notice for those who seeks for answers; hence, your posting remains on the forum. I wish the same goes on this forum. J, please help SRF to stay the same. Your team and the forum are doing great.
As for holding fort, I am no longer a guardsmen in iPark. My heart stays true with <<Removed Due To Request>> - Key-J on SRO, but broken as an employee. My new fort had moved not too far away from the old, about 2.1 miles south. During lunch hours, I usually take my daily walk to Starbucks. You will find me in a blue Eddie Baurs jacket with Blue and White San Francisco Coffee Mug. If one takes a whiff, you will find a full earthy body, almost no acidity, with a hint of spicy herbal notes, Starbucks Sumatra Coffee in my left hand. Gotta question for those who were employeed under June Son. Couple questions really. Primarily, what is he like? Is he nice, or a head up his uptight ʚss corprate type or what? Since he never made an official forum apperance, or any appearance to the customer, im curious to get a general idea of what he does. That is of course when he ISNT blowing smoke up the ʚss of some mmo site.
hey,
Thanks for the support. I am frequent SRF reader and visitor.
I'm sorry but I do not know June Son. Have a good day.

Re: The REAL morningdew
Alright so I'll accept that you were a GM for Joymax, but what does that prove? that you were about on par to the standard of Joymax, which is crap in all honesty and have made absolutely no impact on Joymax or Silkroad for that matter, so why are you posting this? to patronize those who were expecting you to tell them something? to feel bigger about yourself? The truth is you pretty much got paid to do nothing, so you fitted the GM job just perfectly, just like now, dont bother answering any questions, just give the people a lame patronizing response about how much better you are because you worked for Joymax. (I suspect you will treat this post no differently)
So I understand that this game is going down the shitter, with nearly all of payments to Joymax made through Paypal, banning botters would be banning income, as a lot or even all of their income would be taken back due to Chargeback, correct me if im wrong on this. So basically knowing this you know that they will never attempt to fix the biggest problem in this game and just completely avoid it as long as it lines their pockets. We all pretty much knew this about a year ago, they had a chance to strike the iron while it was hot back then, but it has spiraled way out of control for Joymax, now bots are synonymous with Silkroad even though it was easily avoidable with some actual attention to the game, but neglect from the company has turned it into this rotting shit of a game called Silkroad, dont get me wrong its a good game, but in this companies hands its garbage.
And I would just like to conclude,I appreciate you told us some things at the start of the thread, but some of the comments you made back to people was completely identical to the attitude of Joymax, so if you made any impact while working for Joymax, it was obviously quite horrible.

You honestly think it's the employees fault for the decisions made about the game?

Re: The REAL morningdew
I'd like to hear some more, like how the Joymax people are thinking. Don't they see that there will soon be no players left and just gold bots on the servers?
And what do you both think about the future for Silkroad? I've read through the pages and according to Pred, it would be smart to quit, if not Joymax sells the international version to another company who knows how to give proper customer support.
So, what can we (the players) of this game do to save it? I know one thing, and that's to stop buying gold. What are the people who buy gold thinking?
I think that most of the new players instantly quits when they notice they can barely login. If we'd have Populated servers (which it probably would be without the gold bots), we'd get increasing number of players of this game = more real players, more fun.
I've never bought gold and will never do it. I bought silk in the beginning, but will never do it again. I'm happy with my +5 weapon and +4 gear which the Normal players usually can afford. But since we have goldsellers, we also have full sun players, which totally ruined all the pvp parts of the game. I'm no longer even trying to be hunter, or to pvp, because I simply have no chance to win.

Yeah that's me. Sorry for the rude behavior but I had to play it off like that. Why? because I didn't want to make any friends in the server. The reason for that is to protect my own identity. It's like being Spiderman. He shuns off everyone that is close to him so they don't know that he's really Spiderman.
Hope you can understand. The characters are inactive now. I didn't have time to delete them. Passwords to all accounts were changed after my departure. So the next dumb GM might be running around on *vivienne*
But why exactly did it have to be like that? Why weren't you allowed to let people know who you were? Maybe if people knew that some of the GM's actually DID play the game, alot of the crap that goes on ingame wouldn't happen as much. -.-

Re: The REAL morningdew
Hello,
I think JM are pressurised by their financial agreements with corporate firms that offer payment method/solutions, who have HUGE negotiating powers, such as PayPal.
If JM were to ban bots now, there would be a huge number of charge backs, that would directly affect their agreement with PayPal, hence breaking their contract and it could result in JM closing down, and no SRO, which yes...would be the worst case scenario.
Putting this into perspective, PayPal is one of, if not THE largest eWallet out there who are directly associated with other giants of the internet such as eBay.
A gaming company like JoyMax is only medium-sized in the industry, and probably one of PayPal's smaller clients, hence their negotiating powers are limited when dealing with such giant organisations.
I agree with NuclearSilo that it's probably too late now with the current number of bots on the current servers, however I think the problem could be resolved if new servers were opened, but with high lvl of security measures for them.
That would result in containing the bots in the servers we have now, and the legits could all go on another server with close surveillance and high quality customer service. That way, players would be happy, JM would be happy, and PayPal would be happy.
Bot users from the old servers would realise that there is no point staying in a server with 100% bots as...there would be nothing to prove and nothing to gain. Result being: they would either die out, or reform as a legit. JM could even lower drop rates of items and gold on the old servers, or increase drop rates of new servers, just to make them more attractive.
Obviously this would be a long term project, and JM would probably have to train up staff to give good customer service for the new servers, but I think that this method is quite viable and cost effective.
I got this idea from Pred- "When it's over. Just never look back." suggesting there is something new to look forward to.
=)

Somehow, i like the fact that we're seeing some minor downfall here. Good to see most of the GM's
getting on with there life; away from the silkroad.
Hope the game kills itself, the bots/goldfarming/whining has gone on long enough.
Goodluck Pred, and the other GM's.
I feel the same way. Be a great day to see all these kiddies that are are addicted to sro like crackbabies cry when Joymax and Silkroad goes down the toilet.
And also, no offense to Pred.
But to all who think Pred had any influence with Joymax, or keep calling him a GM.
STOP!!!
He was only a forum moderator, and you can find plenty of posts on their official forums where these Forum Moderators admit that they are completely useless.
GM is a Game Master / Game Manager. This implies they manage the game to ensure fair gameplay and a TOS if Joymax had a proper one, instead bunch of garbage to legitimize botting and gold buying. This would mean banning botters. Banning advertisement spammers in towns. Make sure any new glich or bugs are reported directly to the developers to ensure fast service. Would imply they maintain a healthy game environment, aka, ban racist assh0les that love to use globals to spam their hatred.
Moderating a forum under the name of morningdew, which 6 other people do, who do nothing, not even moderate the forum, are not GMs.
Sorry, but that's the truth.
PS: Also implies there is no REAL morningdew. Morningdew is just a stupid alias that whoever joymax hires to supposedly "Moderate" their forums to use whenever they post. Honestly, who really cares about who uses the morningdew alias. They can't under contract disclose any future updates or plans. They have no powers or influence over anything that happens in game. Its a forum, a forum that has been hacked, forum that has disclosed people's usernames, a forum that is horribly bugged, terrible programming.
