what is phy/mag absorbtion?

It cuts the damage dealt to you by the give amount. Say its 10% phy absorption, when you get hit by a physical attack that normally deals 10 000 damage to you, you only get 9 000 damage because of the 10% phy absorption. There are many sources of phy and mag absorption, and most importantly, they stack/cumulative in effect.
