[Q] ipod problems

Well i got a ipod vid for x-mas and for some reason some songs will go so far into the song say 30 seconds and than it'll switch to the next song. I tried restoring my i-pod and reimporting the songs but still happening, kinda annoying any suggestions?

If I remember right, there's an option in the settings that will allow you to play only the starting of songs; maybe it's on?

As dom said, perhaps your on preview mode. Failing that, check that they aren't set to end on 30 seconds inside itunes, just right click and 'get info' and see if its set.

Try reseting the ipod.

Toggle Hold (Off>On>Off)

Press and hold center and menu button for 10 seconds untill you see the mac apple.

send it back and get a new one that won't do that or do what dom said and turn that setting off
