SOM set 4th degree

OK, so i bought an som one hand sword and my friend gave me an som br18 shield both lvl 24

the sword is currently +1 and shield is +2

i want to +5 or +7 both of them, but what i want to know is how long that will last me in terms of level-wise

but one thing is on the sword the crit is only 7, now how can reroll it...with a reroll stone? where would i get one of those though?

Well SOM +5-7 pending on stats in equal to a +3 or +5 of the next degree so a 32+5 wep, has for the critical not sure what your talking about reroll? but if you want to fix the critical you need a challenger tab or stone, to fix it, Either way good luck

+1, by reroll s/he meant change the stats, so use a ruby challenge stone (you kill mobs, get a ruby challenge tablet, make it into a stone; check alchemy guide). Som is like a +10, so as a rough guide your som 24+5 wpn (if you make it +5) is like a 24+10+5= lvl 39 item (or a 38+1 etc). You dont really have to +7 it, cause you can level up from lvl 24? to 40 pretty fast if you play regularly.

+3 em and leave it at that. With those weps and good parties you'll be like 32 in a few days. I learned, unless you're 9 gapping dont bother pimping lowr lvl stuff more than you have to.

Yes, but they are rare (not rare like there's few ingame, they are just not so much sold). You would have better luck trying to buy 4D ruby challenge tablets and turn them into stones (see alchemy section like Sylhana said).
But assimilating the critical factor is hard and expensive.
Plus i wouldnt spend too much money on 4D stuff, you'll lvl up fast and can use 5D stuff in no time.
