Well, I'm a noob blader but I have a lv 80 char that I farmed with 9 gap on 80. If I reach 80 on my blader before the cap raise, I'll farm with 7 gap so I'll have the uberchain. I think that skill is a must.

Well im farming atm, and i was doing better at 8 gap then 9 gap, purely because i prefered getting for exp so i wanted to farm more = more sp

Err, hi. I'm a lvl 75 blader. Gap is 0, but all the skills are at lvl68, except flying stone lvl1 and lighting chain lvl1. I was thinking to lvl up to 77, then gap 9 farming, but I've been thinking about lvling up to lvl80, and then all skills at 71 gap 9 farming, which would allow me to use flying stone. Bleed is very useful for party mobs, but I dont know will u gain very less sp at lvl80.

Summary:

1) lvl77, skills at 69, gap 9 farming
2) lvl80, skills at 71, gap 9 farming with bleed.

Which one is better? Will I gain more sp/3hrs at lvl80 or at lvl77?

Oh, and I do have enough sp to lvl up the skills 68->71.

has no one pointed out lvl 77 and skills at 69 is an 8 gap not 9? O.o

Farm at 77. Why? The dmg difference between 69 and 71 skills is irrelevant, but you will get way more sp and xp killing generals at 77 than at 80, you would also get way more in a party 8 level 78-80s because of the double xp deal, compared to the xp at 80, when you party with a bunch of lvl 80's.

At 77, you can efficiently farm on hunters, which are way easier to kill than generals and their eviL block and stun crap. At 80 you will get crappy xp from hunters and will have to deal with the block and stun all the time.

I agree with all that and also to add if babel is similar to what greece is, most of the grind spots for the royal guards/generals and mages/shamans will be constantly packed with other players (alot of sun players too) and you could find yourself changing your grind spot on a daily basis (which was what happened to me when i was farming @ 80). If you were farming at 77 there are slightly more mobs available for ya to farm as well but the downside to that would be not having bleed which you could live without for your farming.

I'm a blader too, at gap lvl 9, the difference is that I'm lvl 66.

I'm farming mobs at my level or lower ones. I'm using sword dance series, soul cut blade and knock down 2nd book. All have AoE or range damage. Being attacked by 2-4 mobs and hitting 2-3 at the same time, it seems to be efficient to me. (Chains are used against champions/giants or PTs).

Disadvantage of it: it works on white/green mobs only.

So my advice is try these skills on lower/same level mobs than you (depend on when u start farming, at 77 or 80) and you will see the amounts of SP and can decide which way is better.

I would just farm with 7 gap at 80... u get lightning chain with all the candies with that... if you are gonna do any pvp meanwhile you farm you WANT to have lightning chain.
