Anything screamo, emo or that it's about the singer telling how he'd like to cut his wrists over a "girl" even though they ar 40 years old losers
Probably those souja gheis or whatever their name is
Okay kcs mad! Dude come on you can't hate Disturbed they are like the only alterna-rock band that is worth listening to, I know I know.. being a mainstream band and having lyrics about anarchy is not very cool but going mainsteams is the only way to be famous nowadays for new bands

Okay, I am a music nazi, so here goes:
Fall Out Boy - Don't like bands that are chumps wearing guy-liner because it's "hip")
Nickelback
My Chemical Romance (Or as I call 'em...My Chemical Tight-Pants)
Nu-metal in general
Avenged Sevenfold - These Farking asshats can keep pretending their the new guns n' roses and that they're really party animals, but to me they are a bunch of guyliner dickbags.
Linkin Park - c'mon, do I really need to state the obvious? Yes, it's nu-metal crap, but these shitlips take it to a new level...truly EVERY song sounds the same
The Bravery and The Killers - You will never be 80s dancey new wave. your members come from shitty ska bands with names like Skabba the Hut.
And pretty much anything that sounds remotely close to this garbage.

+1 on nickelback... the only band in history to write the same album 5x and get hits from each version.
but i have to diverge from you on some of your picks. the MCR album "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" was amazing (though the newest one isn't even the same band). fck the pants they wear, that guy can write some lyrics. there are few albums that have the kind of cohesion that that record achieves; it's concept without slapping you in the face w/ it. it's fast without being corny. it's a win imho.
A7X was way cooler when they were a serious metal band, like on "Sounding the 7th Trumpet", "Waking The Fallen" (my fav), "Warmness On The Soul", etc. their singer blew out his voice, which is why he doesn't scream anymore and they have sounded much less hard since. still a talented bunch of musicians, even if it's cheesy as hell sometimes. (but hey, that's metal)
linkin park would be a much better band if they ditched Mike Shinoda. let my man do his solo thing and just let Chester front LP, they would stand more of a chance. rap rock died when Fred Durst ate a dick. which was about 6 minutes after "3-Dollar Bill, Y'all" came out. chester has one of the best edgy voices in rock music today, and if their songs sound similar, in my opinion they sound similar in the way that you can always tell a LP song when you hear it. kinda like you can always tell a Pearl Jam song before eddie even opens his mouth. they're not a favorite of mine, but "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora" have lived on my iPod since i got the albums.
never heard of The Bravery, but The Killers deserve some respect as far as i am concerned. fck where their members come from, they are carrying on the tradition of the Depeche Modes, the New Orders, the The Cures of my generation. i grew up on a steady diet of synth pop all throughout the '80s and '90s, and this stuff appeals to me on an almost primal level, even though it is definitely flavored with today's sycophantic pop sensibilities. i can choke that down w/ the rest of the dish.
we should really make a seperate thread for talking about bands we LIKE in addition to bands we hate.

+1 for a thread of bands we like, altho I think it would end up in arguments too
Regarding My Chemical Romance. Bands that now call themselves "emo" or who are considered "emo" by mainstream society piss me off in general. I grew up in the U.S. punk/hardcore scene which spawned true emo bands during the 80s and 90s. So, when I see this garbage - yes I consider it garbage - it makes me sick to my stomach. It's really become a mockery of itself. Sorry, but I'll take Fugazi over MCR any day.
and that crapass Avenged Sevenfold gets no respect from me either. I'm also a metal head, and I could care less what they sounded like "before". I think they are absolutely horseshit. From their gimmick to their music. Sure, the drummer and guitarists are talented. But, that doesn't make them a good band.
And, I've always hated LP. I've never had any respect for them, regardless of their singer's ability. The rap rock thing is lame, they continue to do it, so they're lame to me. And honestly, every one of their singles consists primarily of the same song structure and being a musician it just irks me.
I'm a HUGE Depeche Mode fan. It's great that they like DM too, but I think the Killers are garbage and riding the waves of a trend that record label execs are milking. Plus, the singer is a tool who defends America like he should be a country singer.
but, that's just my opinion

it seems that a lot of your opinions are formed based on philosophy rather than an actual assessment of talent. is it really fair to say, "yah those guys are talented, but they suck anyway because they look like X"? i don't watch TV. i don't listen to the radio. i don't deal in genres or trends or anything like that. i hear music, and i judge it based on its merits. i don't take into account who else is doing what they're doing (because let's face it, there hasn't been a shred of original music in 300 years). i don't care what they look like, how they dress, what their political ideology is, or what they had for breakfast that morning. talent is talent, good music is good music, and sometimes bad music is good music, and sometimes it doesn't matter.
i dunno, maybe it's because i've been a musician all my life. i went to school for it, twice. i have played every style from Rachmoninoff to Slayer to Chick Corea. i think that kind of exposure to musical diversity puts me in a different place when it comes to judging music.
you know how you can look at a well-designed automobile, or a nice piece of art, or eat a piece of food that you don't exactly like, but you can appreciate why others like it? or that you can recognize the quality of it despite the fact that it isn't in line w/ your tastes? that's how i hear music. i dunno if that makes sense.

+1
I can't stand it when people adopt that view on any issue. One thing that really frustrates me is when I hear people talk about politics, know nothing about the politians or parties, and say that they hate X because of obscure reasons usually relating to them trying to prove that they are off the beaten path.
The way I see it, especially for music, if they were discovered, sold millions of albums, have a huge fan base, and are constantly played on the radio then they can't be THAT bad. The first nickelback songs were enjoyable, in a "i'm driving and this music is upbeat but by no means artistic" kind of way, but after hearing the same song a million times it has lost it's novelty - that by no means makes it, or the band, the anti-christ.

Btw, I know you dont give a crap what I, or some other person listen to. But people do tend to dislike people listening to a music style they dont like
